Chers Entraineurs, Parents, Joueurs, Familles et Amis,
Comme vous le savez, Dean Stock (entraîneur de hockey - Trois Lacs et HRS) a reçu un
diagnostic de SLA en Décembre dernier. Tous ceux qui ont cotoyé Dean, même pour un bref
moment, savent que Dean illustre parfaitement l'esprit communautaire et est un mentor
pour tous nos enfants. De plus, il incarne les valeurs que nous désirons enseigner à nos
enfants lorsqu'ils participent aux sports ou interagissent avec les autres. Malgré son combat,
il continue de contribuer et d'avoir un impact énorme sur les communautés de Saint-Lazare
/ Hudson / Rigaud / Vaudreuil.

Initiatives
1. La distribution et vente de ruban adhésif bleu marin (couleur symbolique de la lutte
contre la SLA)
• Assurer que tous les joueurs de hockey enregistrés dans la ligue des Trois Lacs et
HRS ont obtenu au moins un rouleau de ruban adhésif, à être utilisé sur leur bâton
de hockey pour le reste de la saison 2014-2015 , afin de démontrer notre soutien à
Dean et mieux sensibiliser la communauté à la SLA .
• Recueillir $ 5/ rouleau minimum - les bénéfices seront versés à TeamStock.ca
2. Autocollants pour les Casques (Teamstock.ca - Shutout ALS)
• De plus, nous demandons à ce que tous les joueurs collent l'autocollant
Teamstock.ca - Shutout ALS sur leur casque pour la saison 2014-2015, afin de
démontrer notre soutien à Dean et mieux sensibiliser à la SLA.
• Recueillir un don de chaque joueur (montant optionnel) - les bénéfices seront versés
à TeamStock.ca
3. Les Bracelets Shutout ALS - TEAMSTOCK.CA
• Pour s'assurer que nous incluons tous les membres de la communauté que Dean
côtoie, nous allons vendre des bracelets afin que tous voulant participer peuvent
montrer leur soutien en portant un bracelet "Shutout ALS - TEAMSTOCK.CA”.
• Nous recueillerons $ 5 / bracelet - les bénéfices seront versés à TeamStock.ca

1. Chaque équipe de Trois-Lacs et HRS (chaque niveau) identifie une personneressource en nous fournissant les informations suivantes:

2. La personne-ressource de chaque équipe sera ensuite avisée de l'endroit où
ramasser les rubans, et les autocollants pour leur équipe respective
3. La personne-ressource de l'équipe sera en charge de distribuer et collecter les
dons au nom de leur équipe, et de les retourner à Trois-Lacs Atome CC
Prédateurs
4. Nous vous demandons que le tout soit complété d'ici le 1er mars, 2015
Veuillez noter que l'équipe Trois Lacs Atome CC Prédateurs aura des tables installées aux
endroits suivants, afin de faciliter la distribution des rubans et autocollants ainsi que pour la
cueillettes des dons:

Dear Hockey Coaches, Parents, Players, and Families/Friends,
Background:
As you are aware, Dean Stock (Hockey Coach - Trois Lacs and HRS) was diagnosed in
December with ALS. Anyone who has come into contact with Dean, even for a brief moment
knows that Dean epitomizes and exemplifies both community leadership and mentorship for
our children, and further to this he truly embodies the characteristics we envision our
children experiencing when they play sports or interact with others. Notwithstanding his
battle, he continues to contribute and have a huge footprint on the St.
Lazare/Hudson/Rigaud/Vaudreuil communities in their entirety.

Our Objectives:
Support Dean and his family
Raise Awareness with respect to ALS
Collect funds and donate to TeamStock.ca on behalf of both Trois-Lacs and HRS Hockey
Associations
Initiatives:
1.
Distribution and Sales of Royal Blue Stick Tape (Symbolic colour of combating ALS)
• Ensure that every hockey player registered in Trois Lacs and HRS is provided at
minimum 1 roll of tape, and uses the tape on their hockey sticks for the remainder
of the 2014-2015 season, to demonstrate our support for Dean and further ALS
awareness.
• Collect at a minimum $5/roll – the total profits will be donated to TeamStock.ca

Helmet Stickers (TeamStock.ca – Shutout ALS)
• In addition to the tape, we ask that all players fasten the sticker to their helmet for
the 2014-2015 season, to demonstrate our support for Dean and further ALS
awareness.
• Collect a donation from each player (optional amount) - the total profits will be
donated to TeamStock.ca
3.
Shutout ALS – TeamStock.ca Bracelets
• To ensure we are capturing the entire community that Dean impacts, and as such
we extend ourselves further than those playing hockey, we will be selling bracelets.
• We will be collecting $5/bracelet – the total profits will be donated to TeamStock.ca
Our Ask/Request:

Each Trois Lacs and HRS Hockey Team (all levels) identify a lead/contact

The contact identified will then be contacted and directed to pick up the tape, stickers, and
bracelets for their respective teams
3)
The team contact will be asked to distribute and collect the donations on behalf of their
teams, returning them to Trois Lacs Atom CC Predateurs
4)
We would like to have this initiative executed and completed by March 1st/2015
Please note in addition the Trois Lacs CC Predateurs will have tables set up at the following
locations to facilitate the distribution and collection:
Rigaud Arena - Thursday February 19th from 17h00 -20h30
St-Lazare Arena - Thursday February 19th from 17h00 - 21h00
Rigaud Arena - Friday February 20th from 17h00 – 19h30
