PASSIVE FIRE / BLAST ENCLOSURE
ECIB developed these products for high-risk sites such as drilling platform, compressing gas,
refinery; they mainly protect the sensitive or emergency equipments such as fire pumps.
They can force machinery beyond its usual limits in case of fire or accidental explosion, in
order to assure the sustainability of the equipment.
DESCRIPTION
The construction design of fire covers fire
classes A and H (hydrocarbon fire) from 0 to
120 minutes H120; it is often associated with
the explosion (blast 0.3 to 1 bar). The
construction of a reinforced steel structure of
high inertia combined with a thick ribbed
cladding is developed to resist to blowing load.
Calculations and numerical simulations are
performed using Pro-Mechanica that enables
the deformations visualization.
The materials are certified Fire BV as well as
single doors or double doors.
4 layer insulation cross assures a high sound
insulation.
INSTALLATION
Ready to install on the frame customer,
bonding high strength nuts and bolts.
The frame can receive a cladding H60 or H120.

External steel sheet of high thickness 3 to 4mm
S 235, S 355 K2, stainless steel 316L, duplex
Rock-wool high-density 150kgs/m3
Undercoating 240µ with OHGPI certification
OPTIONS
Waterproof enclosure pressurized for area
ATEX .System concept for polar temperature.
