Le kit de massage Akwaterra est un concept innovant qui permet de varier les techniques de massage, grâce à ses
accessoires, et propose ainsi différentes utilisations selon les besoins.
Ce concept innovant a vu le jour grâce à la complicité de deux sœurs Cathy et Coline et l’alliance de leurs savoir-faire.
Cathy, cadre commercial, gère la promotion et la commercialisation du produit (communication, marketing, export) puis
Coline, professionnelle du massage & soins corporels, développe sa mise en pratique et assure la formation au massage

Le kit s’utilise à chaud & à froid
Version chaude pour cibler la décontraction musculaire et dissiper
les tensions, les Akwaterra sont remplies d’eau chaude (environ
40°) maintenues au bain-marie sur un chauffe-plat électrique. La
chaleur diffusée par les Akwaterra dilate les pores et accentue le
bénéfice des huiles de massages et huiles essentielles.
Version froide pour améliorer la circulation sanguine, raffermir le
corps, drainer les cellules graisseuses et lisser l’épiderme,
les Akwaterra sont remplies d’eau froide, en ajoutant des glaçons
dans le support adapté.
Les accessoires inclus
dans le kit Akwaterra
Il comprend quatre paires d’accessoires de massage en céramique
grès porcelainique. Chacune a une forme et une fonction spécifiques, optimisant leurs propriétés. Leur forme ergonomique combinée à l’action diffuse de la chaleur permet au praticien d’exercer
des soins sur l’ensemble du corps en profondeur tout en conservant une énergie continue ; cela favorise aussi le traitement des
zones de tensions.
KINSEI : L’action des picots participe à l’amélioration de la circulation sanguine, draine les toxines, diminue la rétention d’eau, raffermit et régénère l’ensemble du corps.
KAYA : Leur forme triangulaire participe à l’assouplissement des
tendons et ligaments et permet un travail sur des points précis en
profondeur.
SATINKA : Leur forme sphérique participe à la décontraction des
tensions musculaires sur des zones précises. Un lissage sur l’ensemble du corps entraîne une sensation de chaleur enveloppante.
ISHKA : Les petites sphères adaptées pour le visage participent
au raffermissement de l’épiderme, décongestionnent le regard et
améliorent la micro-circulation. On peut aussi les utiliser pour un
travail approfondi sur des points précis du corps.
Mon avis
Fabriqué en France, le kit Akwaterra est compatible avec
les techniques en massage bien-être que vous connaissez,
Ayurvédique, Californien, Énergétique etc. C’est aussi un vrai
complément d’un massage manuel, où grâce aux accessoires,
vous favorisez, à chaud la détente musculaire, à froid l’effet
drainant et raffermissant. En appliquant la paire Akwaterra la
mieux adaptée, vous agirez de façon précise sur les zones à traiter
et optimisez l’efficacité de votre massage. Pur utiliser de manière
optimale le Kit Akwaterra, vous avez la possibilité de recevoir une
journée de formation payante. Idéal pour la mise en place de soins

Hold & cold
The kit has a hot version to target muscle contraction and melt away
tensions. The Akwaterra accessories are filled with hot water (around
40°C) and kept in a bain-marie on an electrical plate warmer. The heat
diffused by the Akwaterras opens the pores and boosts the effects of
the massage and essential oils.
The cold version is used to improve blood flow, firm the skin, drain fat
cells and smooth the epidermis. The Akwaterras are filled with cold
water, and ice cubes are added to the adapted receptacle.
Akwaterra kit accessories
There are four pairs of massage accessories made from sandstone
porcelain. Each accessory has a specific shape and function designed
to optimize their effects. Their ergonomic design combined with the
diffusion of heat allows the practitioner to maintain the same level of
energy throughout the whole massage or body treatment, and also
helps treat areas of tension.
KINSEI: The massage nodes on the bottom help improve blood
circulation, drain toxins, decrease water retention, firm the skin and
provide an overall feeling of invigoration.
KAYA: Their triangular shape helps loosen tight ligaments and tendons
and can be used to perform deep tissue massage on particular points.
SATINKA: Their spherical shape helps relax muscle tension in specific
areas. Using them for performing long strokes increases body
temperature and provides a soothing and reassuring feeling.
ISHKA: The small spheres adapted for facial massage help tone the
epidermis, decongest the eye area and improve microcirculation. They
can also be used for deep tissue massage on specific points of the body.

My Opinion
Made in France, the Akwaterra Kit is compatible with all the wellbeing
massage techniques you know, Ayurvedic, Californian, Meridian, etc… It
provides a useful complement to a hands-on massage, the accessories
promote muscle relaxation when heated or provide draining and firming
effects when chilled. Using the best adapted pair of Akwaterra accessories
allows targeted treatment of areas that need it most and optimizes the
massage’s effectiveness. Day-long training courses are also available to learn
how to truly optimize your Akwaterra Kit. This kit is ideal for Spas wanting to
develop their offering with the implementation of customizable treatments.

Remind us of how and why the SpaMeeting concept came into being.
Juliette BLANZY: The idea of adapting the professional speed dating
format in a luxurious context emerged from the very compelling demand
from treatment brands and equipment manufacturers to reach out to
project owners seeking to open Spas. As the creation of Spas is strongly
supported by the hotel industry, we created a concept where these two
universes could meet and exchange ideas in a prioritized and targeted way.
Being upstream in the decision process is very important for suppliers and
a good many projects are looking for new products. Thanks to our in-depth
knowledge of our buyers’ needs, the selection of products that interest them
is made easier and the meeting is much more effective for our participants.

J.B.: I’m delighted to reply to this question. It is exactly that – the secret. You, who have
been a partner since the very first event, know better than anyone: all members of the
SpaMeeting team are driven by the motivation that combines immense enjoyment in
designing an event that measures up to the promise made while creating an efficient
and convivial atmosphere conducive to professional meeting that become more
rewarding with every event.
One of key factors to SpaMeeting’s success is the quality and loyalty of
buyers from the most prestigious hotel chains. What do they find so special at
SpaMeeting events?
J.B.: The buyers are confident, they talk among themselves and they are our best
ambassadors. Let me give you the example of the Thai Spa Association to whom a
major hotel chain declared that today the only event that was useful to them and
their search for products was SpaMeeting. Imagine our satisfaction on hearing that!
It does, however, add to the challenge we face to develop the event each and every
year. Our force today is that we have a panel of directors, all decision-makers in their
supplier selection process, who don’t hesitate to give us 2 days of their time from
their very busy schedules in order to source the products that they can find nowhere
else. Indeed, for many it is the occasion to discover brands that are nevertheless
already well established in their markets. What makes SpaMeeting so rewarding is
that the buyers can take the time to explain their projects, their requirements and
their technical constraints to a panel of suppliers and manufacturers who are more
than happy to be involved. Ideas start flowing, exchanges are intense – it really is a
wonderfully enabling environment!

J.B.: There are 2 dates for your diaries in 2015 and places will be limited. We are proud
to announce that we have already made great progress in selecting participants: ANTIAGE AND SPAMEETING ASIA from 14th to 16th October in Beijing, co-organised with
Anti-Age and Spa China, and SPAMEETING EMEA on 7th and 8th December in Dubai: this
will be an exceptional event where Spa opening projects and distributors are invited
to join in the major Middle East even in Dubai!
