Cookie All Stars – FAQs for Guiders
What is Cookie All Stars?
Cookie All Stars is Girl Guides of Canada’s cookie selling rewards initiative, where girls earn amazing
rewards for achieving exceptional cookie sales levels. Girls set their own goals, earn fabulous rewards
and get recognized for their efforts, all while raising funds for their Unit’s great Guiding activities and
programming
What is the Guider’s role in Cookie All Stars?
Guiders play an instrumental role in Cookie All Stars.

Guiders are responsible promoting Cookie All Stars to girls in their Unit

Deciding the overall Unit order.

Responsible for tracking the number of cookies each girl individually sells.

Responsible for entering this information into the Cookie All Stars rewards site.
In addition, Guiders will help girls and parents/guardians understand this initiative and will support
and encourage girls as they work towards their cookie selling goals.
Guiders that promote Cookie All Stars to girls in their Units and enter information of participating
girls, regardless of the level achieved by the girls or the number of cases sold by their Unit, will
receive a crest especially designed for Guiders.
Is participation in Cookie All Stars mandatory?
Traditionally all Units sell cookies in order to finance their various activities and to help support
GGC’s official fundraiser. Cookie All Stars is fun and is a great learning experience for girls. Although it
is not mandatory, all Units are encouraged to participate in Cookie All Stars.
Can Guiders receive rewards?
Cookie All Stars rewards Guiders with a “Guider Supporting” Cookie All Stars crest when they
promote Cookie All Stars to girls in their Unit. Guiders will order this crest when they place their
order for the rewards for girls in their Unit.
Can provinces offer additional incentives for girls?
Yes. Provinces can offer additional incentives for girls who participate in Cookie All Stars. Contact
your Provincial Office.
How many cases of cookies does a Unit need to sell to receive a group crest?
As a group, each Unit must sell 20 or more case of cookies over both campaigns in order for girls to
receive a group selling crest. Girls are required to participate in at least ONE event to qualify. Please
note that the amount of cookies sold as a group does NOT count toward individual sales.

How do I add cases sold for a girl in my Unit that has sold for another Unit?
As our current registration site is designed to record sales information by each Unit only, recording of
the sales of additional cookies can be done in two ways:
 Send an email to the Cookie All Stars Team at [email protected] with the request
to adjust the appropriate records; or
 Add the amount of cases to the Total Unit order and ask the Guider of the other Unit to
decrease the amount of her Total Unit order
Can Trex, Lones and transitional Members receive rewards and recognition certificates?
Yes. Trex, Lones and transitional Members can work towards the individual and group sales rewards
and recognition certificates.
As our current registration site is designed to record sales information by each Unit, cookie sales by
Trex, Lones and transitional Members must be recorded manually after the registration site has
closed. Guiders should send an email to [email protected] with the following information:





Girl’s name
Girl’s iMIS number
Total number of case sold
Unit iMIS number and name
Guider’s mailing address
When will rewards be shipped?
Rewards are usually shipped mid-June. This timeline was considered taking into account that many
Units do not receive their cookies until mid-April. GGC wanted to allow all girls an equal opportunity
to qualify for Cookie All Stars rewards.
From a logistical and financial point of view it is not feasible to mail rewards on an individual basis.
The mid of June shipping date still allows Guiders to contact the girls before the end of the school
year and the start of summer vacation.
How will rewards be shipped?
All rewards are shipped to the Unit Leader, except for those that sold 80+ cases. Packages are
shipped from a third party distribution company as follows:
 Packages containing only crests are shipped first class mail
 Packages that include vouchers and/or gift cards are shipped expedited post with a
signature required upon delivery.
Upon verification, girls that earn a Tablet will have their reward shipped directly from the national
office via courier, with a signature required upon delivery.
