Title: P2P configurations for ProActive, Daniele Di Felice
Abstract: “In the last years, the Peer-to-Peer technology is emerging in
the deployment of distributed applications, above all for applications
that require many resource sharing and assembling. In the first part of
my master thesis I've planned a Software architecture that solve the main
problems that are typical of the distrbuted systems (e.g. leader
election, atomic broadcast, byzantine agreement, etc...), adapting
existings solutions to the particular P2P environment and using the JXTA
platform (the emerging P2P technology by Sun Microsystems). In the second
part, I have planned a global GRID computing system using the package
planned in the first part, dedicated to the scientific parallel
computing”.
