Senior researcher, Unit “International relations”
 Coordination of the Social Investment Knowledge Bank, in the European Social Policy
Network (ESPN) which provide national analysis of the main challenges across
Member States in the Social Protection and Social Inclusion field.
 Socio-economic analysis in the field of Social inclusion and Social Protection,
especially cross-sectional and longitudinal analyses based on the EU Statistics on
Income and Living Conditions (EU-SILC).
 Development of comparative EU social indicators. In particular, development of EU
child deprivation indicators and revision of the EU material deprivation indicator used
as one of three components of the Europe 2020 social inclusion target.
 Member of the EU funded “Second Network for the analysis of EU-SILC” (Net-SILC2)
that regroups 16 European partners (National Statistical Institutes, Universities and
Research Centers) working on EU-SILC data.
 Vice-chair of the Social Protection Committee Ad hoc Group on Efficiency and
Effectiveness of Social Spending and Financing Arrangements.
 Active participation in many Eurostat Task-forces (e.g. Task-force on material
deprivation, Task-force on the revision of EU-SILC legal basis, Task-force on the 2016
SILC ad hoc module on access to services)
 Member of the Scientific Committee of the Social Situation Monitor, European
Commission, DG employment and social affairs.
