Bancontact/Mister Cash EMV migration
in the scope of SEPA
Dear Partner,
In accordance with the SEPA initiative of the European Union, Worldline is now in the process of migrating the
Bancontact/Mister Cash scheme to the mandatory common standards (EMV).
In order to make your ECR solution compliant with those standards and allow a smooth migration of your customers,
some modifications are required in the protocol being used to interact with the terminal.
We urgently invite you to select one of the two following options as applicable:
1. Integration of VIC 01.07/13 and mandatory re-certification if your ECR supports TINA (Off line backup for
BC/MC cards named “backup mode” in the EMV standard) and/or “Partial Approval for Meal Voucher”.
For an appointment with the Worldline ECR-certification-team, please complete the form on the following website:
mypaymentsolution.be/en/certification
2. Basic compatibility check of your current ECR solution if your ECR does not support TINA nor “Partial Approval
for Meal Voucher”. This one-time check is organized at the Worldline premises in Brussels and free of charge. It will
only take 30 minutes and assure you, as ECR supplier, that your solution is compatible to the new standards and
covered by Worldline support if ever needed.
Please confirm your choice by replying to [email protected] before 15 January 2016.
If you already performed the actions applicable to your solution, please confirm your status (option 1 or option 2
completed) by replying to [email protected] before 15 January 2016.
We thank you in advance for your cooperation and encourage you to contact Worldline if you have additional questions.
