OBJECTIFS
Cette formation offre les connaissances scientifiques en sciences
de la vie et de la nature et plus précisément en biochimie, biologie
cellulaire et moléculaire, physiologie animale générale, nutrition et
sciences des aliments, et clinique nutritionnelle (adapter la nutrition
à des cas médicaux spécifiques). Ce diplôme en nutrition répond
aux besoins des professionnels en matière d’hygiène alimentaire et
aux attentes de la population en termes de conseil et l’éducation
nutritionnelle, dans un souci de prévention mais également en
matière de formation.
OBJECTIVES
Students will be introduced to a broad range of scientific knowledge
related to life science and nature, more precisely to biochemistry,
cellular and molecular biology, general animal physiology, nutrition
and food science, clinical nutrition (adapt nutrition to specific
medical cases ). This bachelor in nutrition meets the needs of
professionals in food hygiene and the expectations of the
population in terms of counseling and nutrition education. Thus it
aims to prevent, but also to provide necessary training.

DURÉE DU PROGRAMME
Trois ans (90 crédits)
Après avoir réussi son diplôme, l’étudiant doit suivre un stage
obligatoire dans un hôpital d’une durée de 6 mois

Three years (90 credits).
After receiving his diploma, the student must attend a mandatory
internship in a hospital for a period of six months .
HORAIRE D’ETUDES
Cours de jour et cours de soir à temps partiel
2 semestres d’études par année universitaire : Automne et
printemps (cours d’été optionnels)
COURSES SCHEDULE
Part-time, day courses and evening courses
2 semesters per academic year : Fall and spring (summer courses
are optional)
CONDITIONS D’ADMISSION
 Baccalauréat libanais ou son équivalent
 Agrément du comité académique de l’Université après étude
du dossier scolaire du candidat
 Freshman accrédité (programmes disponibles à la LCU)

 Lebanese Baccalaureate or its equivalent
 The consent of the University’s Academic Advisory Committee
after studying the applicant’s school file

centres d’examens de santé, comités d’éducation pour la santé

 les structures de recherche
 les établissements de soins (hôpitaux, cliniques…)
 les cliniques de nutrition
 le secteur du Contrôle Qualité (hôpitaux, restaurants, Spa, …)
 la consultation dans les clubs sportifs et pour les individus
 les laboratoires pharmaceutiques
 les laboratoires de recherche

The holder of a bachelor in nutrition has access to major careers
in the following fields :
 Catering
 Public health facilities (local communities, health examination
centers, health education committees…)
 Food and drug industries and dietary
 Research facilities
 Health facilities (hospitals, clinics...)
 Diet centers
 Quality Control sector : hospitals, restaurants, spa.
 Consultation in sports clubs and for individuals
 Pharmaceutical laboratories
 Research laboratories
L’obtention de ce diplôme permet à l’étudiant d’entreprendre des
études de cycle supérieur (Master, Doctorat).
After obtaining this degree, the student is able to undertake
advanced studies (Master, Doctorate).
DOCUMENTS REQUIS POUR L’ADMISSION
 3 photos passeport récentes;
 Une photocopie de la carte nationale d'identité ou l'extrait d’état
civil individuel récent (ou une photocopie du passeport pour les
étrangers);
 Une photocopie certifiée de l’extrait d'état civil familial récent
(seulement pour les Libanais);
 Une attestation originale de la Caisse Nationale de Sécurité
Sociale ou de son équivalent, s’il y a lieu;
 L'attestation du Baccalauréat libanais ou d'un diplôme jugé
équivalent certifiée conforme par le Ministère de l'Education et
de l’Enseignement supérieur;
 Les détenteurs du Baccalauréat Technique (BT3) doivent faire
certifier leur diplôme et en demander l’équivalence auprès de la
Commission des équivalences;
 Une photocopie du relevé de notes des trois dernières années
secondaires certifiée conforme par l'établissement scolaire;
 L'attestation des études universitaires déjà accomplies, s'il y a
lieu;
 Les documents précités doivent être en français ou en anglais ;
sinon ils doivent être accompagnés d’une traduction certifiée
française ou anglaise, faite à l’université, à l’exception de
l’extrait d’Etat civil familial et l’attestation de la CNSS.
REQUIRED ADMISSION DOCUMENTS
 3 recent passport-size photos;
 A photocopy of the National Identity Card or a recent Personal
Civil Status Record (or a photocopy of the passport for foreign
applicants);
 A certified photocopy of a recent Family Civil Status Record (for
Lebanese nationals only);
 An attestation from the National Social Security Fund or its
equivalent, if applicable;
 A certified copy of the Lebanese Baccalaureate or its equivalent
issued by the Ministry of Higher Education;
 Holders of the Technical Baccalaureate (BT3) must have their
degree certified and then receive the equivalent rating of their
degree by the Commission of equivalences;
 A copy of the official transcripts, certified by the school of origin,
for the last three years of secondary school;
 A certified copy of the official transcripts of any prior university
study, if applicable;
 Documents must be prepared in French or in English; if not,
they must be accompanied with certified French or English
translations made at the university, except for the Family Civil
Status Record and the attestation from the National Social
Security Fund (NSSF).
