: a regional digital campus open to the world
A multi-site training and research campus with a high
international profile
UEBC@mpus is 28 institutions brought together to form a
digital campus which promotes on-line training and
network research. Developed for the whole university
community, UEBC@mpus offers a new way of
communicating and working together. 38 sites served by
a collaborative communication infrastructure.
Offering innovative digital services to the UEB
community
• Services designed so that users are highly independent
due to them being very simple to access and use
• Exchanging ideas / Arranging meetings / Providing
training
Digital tools for new services and more collaborative uses
High-definition video-conferencing rooms with
sound-surround, telepresence rooms, tele-lecture
halls, image walls, tools for data capturing,
archiving and using digital data...will be some of
the equipment to be deployed.
There will also be new services with digital work
environments or new generation virtual offices for
all users.
These digital spaces are also intended for hosting
training activities for teachers, research on digital
uses and joint research with companies

Regional platform for EU projects : Missions
Missions :
The Regional platform for EU projects is a common department of the 28 members of UEB,
that aims to strengthen Brittany’s integration in the European Research Area (ERA) and the
European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
Objectives :
• To facilitate the research and higher education stakeholders’ access to European funding
thanks to a technical assistance in project engineering : scientific watch of call
opportunities, information, training, project setting and consulting ;
• To highlight the regional participation in European programmes.
Scope :
• Research and innovation projects (mainly Horizon 2020) ;
• Higher Education projects (mainly Erasmus +).
Regional platform for EU projects : Organisation
A regional platform service located on two university sites and benefiting all members
of the UEB :
• Brest (3 officers)
• Rennes (1 manager, 1 assistant, 3 officers)
An active department in national & European networks :
• National NCPs meetings, thematic networks, EC infodays & brokerage events.
