This showing is said to be on the Georgie River, 1&
miles from tidewater, and about 16 miles south-southwest
of Stewart.
The showings were held as the Black Prince group by
Messrs. Stark and Plewin in 1905. The property was subsequently known as the Blue Point group and consisted of two
claims, the Black Knight and Black Knight No. l. The Blue
Point Mines, Limited was formed in 1910 to carry on the
development work. Some 275 feet of underground work was
done in 1910. The Black Knight and Black Knight No. 1 claims
(~ots3637 and 3636, respectively) were Crown-granted to
Messrs. Stark, Rudge, and Kergin in 1916.
DESCR IPTION OF DEPOSITIDESCRIPTIOND U GISEMENT
A vein, said to be up to 4: feet wide, is mineralized
with galena, sphalerite, and pyrite, and carries values in
silver.
