sta Guía, editada por la Federación de Asociaciones y
Organizaciones Turísticas de Navarra, es fruto del trabajo en
unión y la ilusión compartida de 10 Asociaciones de Turismo
Rural. Ofrece una oferta turística completa y respetuosa con
el entorno y la forma de vida del medio rural, para su disfrute de una forma sana y saludable, de la naturaleza y sus
parajes privilegiados. Podrás conocer la cultura e historia de
los pueblos, tareas agrícolas y ganaderas y descubrir actividades deportivas impresionantes, todo ello en un ambiente
de autenticidad y serenidad.
En esta Guía encontrarás oferta de diferentes tipos de
alojamientos rurales: albergues, apartamentos turísticos,
campings, casas rurales de alquiler íntegro o por habitaciones, hoteles, hostales, pensiones. Oferta también de
restaurantes, donde degustar nuestra tradicional gastronomía navarra, así como de empresas de actividades, con las
que disfrutar a tope de todos los recursos que la naturaleza
pone a nuestro alcance. Establecimientos auténticos en los

argitaratutakoa da, 10 Nekazal Turismoko Elkarteen batasun laneko eta partekatutako ilusioaren fruitua da. Eskaintza turistiko osoa eta ingurunearekin
eta landa eremuko bizitzarekin errespetuzkoa eskaintzen du, modu osasuntsu
eta osasungarriz naturaz eta bere inguru pribilegiatuez gozatzeko. Kultura eta
herrien historia, nekazaritza eta abelzaintza zereginak eta kiroletako jarduera
ikaragarriak ezagutzeko aukera izango duzu, guzti hori benetakotasun eta lasaitasun giroan.
Gidaliburu honetan nekazal ostatuetako eskaintza mota desberdinak aurkituko
dituzu: aterpetxeak, apartamentu turistikoak, kanpalekuak, alokairu osoko
edo logela alokairudun landa etxeak, hotelak, ostatuak, pentsioak. Jatetxeetan, gure nafar gastronomia tradizionala dastatzeko aukerarekin, eta jarduera

Baztan-Bidasoa
Situado en el Pirineo Atlántico, allí donde las crestas montañosas inclinan su cabeza hacia el mar, los valles de
Urdax, Zugarramurdi, Baztán, Bertizarana, Malerreka, Bortziriak... ofrecen al viajero el paisaje siempre verde
de los prados, el color cambiante de los bosques de hayas y de helechos, el ruido del agua que corre en mil
riachuelos y regatas, el suave clima que da cobijo por igual al cultivo del kiwi o la palmera.
Entrar en estos valles es encontrarse con unas gentes que han sabido conservar su cultura tradicional, que
muestran orgullosos su lengua, que siguen practicando sus deportes más antiguos, que exhiben con satisfacción los trabajos de sus muchos artesanos, que saben disfrutar haciendo partícipes a los demás de una variada
y rica gastronomía.
Es un territorio en donde uno puede encontrarse con la naturaleza, en donde el viajero puede sentir la fuerza
de lo auténtico a lo largo de sus 830 kilómetros cuadrados, que recorren en todas sus direcciones caminos y
senderos, el Parque Natural del Señorío de Bértiz, la Vía Verde del Bidasoa además de dos parques de aventura
referentes en Europa.
Al norte de Navarra, muy cerca del mar y de las playas, haciendo límite con Francia, están estos pueblos y
lugares; Urdax, Zugarramurdi, Baztán, Bertizarana, Malerreka, Bortziriak... son los “Valles Tranquilos”.
BORTZIRIAK-CINCO VILLAS
Igantzi, Arantza, Lesaka, Etxalar y Bera forman las denominadas Bortziriak. Se trata de cinco pueblos con
categoría histórica de villas y cuya personalidad ha estado marcada por su proximidad con las fronteras y la
existencia entre los S. XVI-XIX de los primeros talleres industriales, las ferrerías.
Bortziriak dejó de ser, con la llegada de la industrialización, una comarca principalmente rural y es aquí donde
se concentra la mayor parte de la industria de la zona norte de Navarra.
Las cinco localidades se asientan a ambos lados del río Bidasoa y su paisaje, de un intenso color verde, se
encuentra salpicado de caseríos entre los prados, helechales y bosques de pinos, robles, hayas y castaños.
MALERREKA
El Valle de Santesteban y Basaburúa Menor conforman la zona de Malerreka, caracterizada por la abundancia
de ríos y regatas, bosques de robles y hayas. Al Valle de Santesteban, históricamente llamado también Valle
de San Esteban o de Lerín, pertenecen los municipios de Doneztebe, Elgorriaga, Ituren, Zubieta, Urrotz, Oitz,
Donamaría y Sunbilla. A Basaburúa Menor las localidades de Ezkurra, Eratsun, Saldias y Beintza-Labaien, e
históricamente se le llamó también, Basaburúa de Suso o de Lerín.
BERTIZARANA
Con el Valle de Bértiz o Bertizarana llegamos al corazón de esta zona del noroeste de Navarra, uno de los valles
cantábricos navarros que más extensos bosques naturales ha conservado con el espectacular Parque Natural
del Señorio de Bertiz que se divisa desde cualquier rincón.
URDAX Y ZUGARRAMURDI
La leyenda y el misterio de las brujas siguen vivos entre las gentes de Zugarramurdi que hoy muestra a los
visitantes las cuevas que sirvieron de escenario para las reuniones de brujas y celebración de Akelarres. En
Urdazubi también pueden visitarse las milenarias y sorprendentes cuevas de Ikaburu.

Este valle habitado desde hace miles de años, como atestiguan los numerosos monumentos megalíticos de sus
cumbres, han pasado a lo largo de la Historia con una marcada personalidad que lo hacen conocido en todo

Pirinio Atlantikoan kokatua, gandor menditsuek haren burua itsasorantz okertzen duten lekuan, Baztango
ibarrak, Urdax-Zugarramurdi, Bertizko Jaurerriak, Malerrekak eta Bortziriak bidaiariari belardi berdezko
paisaiak eskaintzen dizkiote, pago basoen eta iratzeen kolore aldakorra, hamaika errekasto eta ubideetan
korrika urak egiten duen hotsa, klima suabeak bai kiwiari eta bai palmondoei ematen dien aterpea.
Ibar hauetan sartzeak esan nahi du, haren kultura tradizionala kontserbatzen jakin duten jendearekin aurkitzea, haien hizkuntzaz arro sentitzen direla entzutea, antzinako kirolak praktikatzen jarraitzen dituztela,
gustora erakusten dituztela artisau askoren lanak eta badakitela besteekin haien gastronomi on eta aberatsaz
gozatzen.
Edonor naturarekin elkartu daitekeen lurralde bat da, non bidaiariak sentitu dezakeen benetakoaren indarra
bere 830 kilometro karratuetan barrena, bide eta bidexkaz josita dagoena, Bertizko Jaurreria Natur Parkea,
Bidasoako Bide Berdea, Europan erreferentzia diren bi abentura - parkez gain.
Nafarroako iparraldean, itsasotik eta hondartzetatik oso gertu, Frantziarekin muga egiten, herri eta txoko
hauek aurkitzen dira; Urdax, Zugarramurdi, Baztan, Bertizarana, Malerreka, Bortziriak,…”Ibar Lasaiak” deiturikoak.
BORTZIRIAK
Igantzi, Arantza, Lesaka, Etxalar eta Berak osatzen dituzte Bortziriak. Bost herriek hiribilduen kategoria dute,
haien nortasuna mugen gertutasunaz eta XVI-XIX mendeetan lehenengo burdinolen existentziaz markatua
egon da.
Industrializazioaren iritsierarekin landa eskualde izateari utzi zion, eta gaur egun zonalde honetan kontzentratzen da Nafarroako Iparraldeko industria gehiena. Bidasoaren bi aldeetan kokatzen dira bost herriak,
paisaia kolore berde biziz.
Belardi artean kokaturiko baserriez zipriztindurik aurkitzen dira, iratzeak, belardiak, haritzak, pagoak eta
gaztainondoak.

Nafarroako ipar-mendebaldean, zonalde honetako bihotzera iristen gara.
Nafarroako kantauriar ibarra, baso natural gehien kontserbatu dituen zonaldea ikusgarria den Bertizko Jaurreria Natur Parkea-rekin, edozein lekutik ikus daitekeena.
URDAZUBI ETA ZUGARRAMURDI
Sorginen kondairak eta misterioak bizirik jarraitzen dute gaur egun oraindik ere Zugarramurdiko herritarren artean.
Sorginen bilerak eta akelarreak ospatzen ziren kobazuloak erakusten dizkiete bisitariei. Urdazubin ere bisitatu ahal
dituzte Ikabururen milaka urteko koba.
BAZTAN IBARRA
Duela milaka urtetatik bizi izandako haran hau, bere gailurretako monumentu megalitiko ugariak adierazten duten
bezala mundu guztian famatua egiten duten nortasun nabariarekin Historian zehar.

Los pueblos conservan la bella arquitectura tradicional de la zona, con sus empinados tejados, sus escudos, chimeneas, portadas, etc., sobriamente decorados. Y la Historia... desde Carlomagno vencido en estas tierras, el eterno
Camino de Santiago, las bellas ermitas y los palacios medievales; las joyas del románico y gótico; los cuidados
pueblos pirenaicos y los últimos hórreos de Navarra. Una zona privilegiada que cuenta con algunos de los lugares
más visitados por los turistas que se desplazan hasta el norte de Navarra en busca de un destino de calidad, que
les ofrezca paz y tranquilidad, unido a una amplia variedad de actividades de naturaleza, cultura y tradición.
SELVA DE IRATI
Con un gran valor natural y ecológico, es considerado como uno de los mayores hayedos abetales de Europa y constituye un
gran atractivo natural todo el año. En este lugar encontramos los restos de la Fábrica de Armas de Orbaitzeta, una verdadera
joya de arqueología industrial del siglo XVIII. La Fábrica era en realidad un poblado, una pequeña ciudad en el hayedo pirenaico del Irati. Declarada Bien de Interés Cultural. Existen numerosas posibilidades de paseos y travesías a pie o en BTT, así como
ascensiones montañeras o actividades invernales sobre nieve (raquetas, esquí de fondo en Abodi…) lo que permite durante
todo el año valorar la calidad de este entorno. Desde Aezkoa se accede a Irati por Orbaitzeta y desde Salazar por Otsagabia.
PICO DE ORHI: Nos encontramos con esta montaña que aparece por encima de la Selva de Irati, enseñándonos sus
más altas del Pirineo Navarro.
QUINTO REAL: Un bosque de experimentación forestal que permite observar un montón de especies en comunión. Desde el collado de Urkiaga puedes subir a uno de los montes más bonitos de la zona, el Adi.
SOROGAIN: Para ir a pasar el día. Puedes hacerte la comida en sus merenderos o dar agradables paseos. El
lugar, muy boscoso, es escenario de las marcas del ganado del valle y del lado francés.
FOZ DE TXINTXURRIMEAR: El río Erro atraviesa el valle de Linzoain, desgastando el terreno. A la altura de
Ardaitz está esta foz (garganta u hoz) para ir a pasar la tarde y bañarse.
ROBLEDAL DE OROZ-BETELU: El robledal de Olaldea-Oroz Betelu y Garralda es uno de los bosques de mayor
interés en Europa en su especie. El árbol que predomina es el roble albar.
MIRADOR DE ARIZTOKIA: (de Garralda a Aribe). Para tener otra perspectiva, desde el alto se puede observar el pueblo de Aribe, el río Irati atravesando un bosque de hayas y si tienes suerte a numerosos buitres merodeando las peñas.
OTSAGABIA:
Zatoya y Anduña, junto al bosque de Irati. Otsagabia se presenta como uno de las pueblos más típicos del
Pirineo Navarro. Lo caracterizan, su puente medieval, sus calles empedradas y sus cuidadas casas situadas a
ambos lados del río Anduña. En esta villa se han conservado las danzas de Muskilda a lo largo de generaciones.
Cada 8 de septiembre ante el Santuario de Nuestra Señora de Muskilda.
SANTA MARÍA DE ARCE: Es una joya del románico rural del siglo XII, declarada Bien de Interés Cultural. Es la
única construcción que queda del primer asentamiento del valle de Arce.

HÓRREOS: Aezkoa posee 15 de los 22 hórreos navarros, todos ellos declarados Bien de Interés Cultural. Se
trata de un tipo de construcción muy común en las zonas húmedas donde la escasez de grano demandaba una
buena conservación a salvo de la humedad y de los roedores.
CASTELLANO
ORREAGA/RONCESVALLES: Centro de peregrinos, de encuentros y silencio. Recuerdo de batallas y de asedios.
La niebla desdibuja el conjunto religioso. Tiene mucho encanto y cierto aire místico.
MEGALITOS: En la comarca existen estaciones megalíticas de gran importancia y también monumentos aislados. También existen numerosos ejemplares de dólmenes.
VALLE DEL RONCAL: De los Valles del Pirineo Navarro es el mas oriental, con un clima y una vegetación típicos de la
discurre la carretera que lleva a las diferentes poblaciones del Valle, dando lugar a unos paisajes impresionantes.
Se encuentra salpicado por siete pueblos Burgui, Vidangoz, Garde, Roncal, Urzainqui, Isaba y Uztarroz, cargados de encanto y atractivo tanto por su arquitectura típica de alta montaña, como por el entorno natural que los
rodean. El Valle del Roncal ofrece al visitante un gran número de atractivos culturales (día de la indumentaria,
(alta montaña, senderismo, esquí de fondo y alpino, travesía, raquetas), recorridos BTT, pruebas cicloturistas
(Larra-Larrau, Pax Avant,...), carreras de montaña (Camille Extrem).
BURGUI: A sus pies el Ezka se adentra en la llamada “Foz de Burgui”, tallada entre sus sierras. Posee también
un bello puente medieval por el que cada año vuelven a surcar las “almadías”. El museo de la almadía nos
mostrará los utensilios para su fabricación.
VIDANGOZ: Cuya economía al igual que en el resto de pueblos estaba basada en la ganadería y la explotación
RONCAL: Es un placer recorrerlo sin prisas. La iglesia de San Esteban se sitúa en un alto y el caserío se concentra en torno al río Ezka. No podemos nombrar este pueblo sin hacer referencia a uno de sus hijos, el famoso
tenor Julián Gayarre. De su propio bolsillo sufragó el frontón y la casa de Juntas del Valle. En la actualidad se
pueden visitar su casa nativa transformada en museo y el Mausoleo obra de Mariano Benlliure (situado en el
cementerio del pueblo) declarado obra de interés cultural.
GARDE: Nos recibe un nogal de extraordinarias dimensiones considerado Monumento Natural. Conserva la arquitectura
típica Pirenaica. En su frontón podemos practicar el deporte típico de la zona, la pelota, en sus diferentes modalidades
(mano, pala,…). Un sendero PR nos llevará a la Ermita de Zuberoa. No muy lejos habitan algunos osos que hay en la zona.
URZAINQUI: Destaca su iglesia, la ermita gótica de Nuestra Señora de San Salvador y una casa torre del siglo XV.
ISABA: Es el municipio más poblado y el centro para iniciar múltiples excursiones por los Valles de Belagua
y Belabarce. Merece la pena visitar la Casa de la Memoria, museo que recoge las costumbres y tradiciones
roncalesas con una moderna museografía. Un sendero PR nos llevará a la ermita de Idoya (siglo XII).
UZTARROZ: Destaca la iglesia de Santa Engracia. Dos kilómetros antes de llegar al pueblo encontramos la Foz
de Mintxate, un lugar ideal para el paseo y para la observación de aves rapaces.
VALLE DE TIPO GLACIAR DE BELAGUA: El impresionante paisaje del Karst de Larra, con numerosas y profundas
simas y elevadas montañas, el Centro de Esquí nórdico Larra-Belagua, la estación de esquí alpino de la Piedra
de San Martín, las gargantas de Kakoueta y Oltzarte… También nos conduce al Valle de Belabarce, Zuriza,
Linza (donde dan comienzo las ascensiones a la Mesa de los Tres Reyes, Petrechema…). Numerosos son los
recorridos que se pueden realizar por todo el Valle del Roncal, para descubrir la frondosidad de sus bosques,
la majestuosidad de sus montañas y la riqueza de su fauna con especies como el oso, el ciervo, o el quebrantahuesos entre otras muchas.

Nafarroako Ekialdeko Pirinioa bere lurraldeetan paisaia eta natura aldetik oso oparoa da, gainera aberastasun
Pirinio aurreko Ilunberri, Arbaiun, Benasa... arroila ederretaraino. Bere edertasunagatik ere bereizten dira Larrako Krats eta Belaguako ibarra, Areta, Abodi eta Leire- Arangoitiko mendiak. Udako artzain portu altuetatik,
neguan elurtuak... pirineo aurreko zereal larre zabaletaraino. Ehun urtez gorako ohiturak eta folklorea kontserbatzen dituzten ibarrak dira, Hiru Behien Zerga, Otsagabiako dantzariak, Zudaireko Bolanteak, Almadiak,
Sorogain Marka, Aezkoako eguna, Auritzko azokak, erromeriak, etb...
Herriek inguruaren arkitektura tradizional ederra kontserbatzen dute, zutitutako teilatuak, armarriak, tximiniak,
ateak, etb... egoki apainduak. Eta Historia... Lur hauetan garaitutako Karlomagnotik, betiko Donejakue Bidea,
ermita ederrak eta erdi aroko jauregiak; erromanikoko eta gotikoko bitxiak; piriniotako herri zainduak eta Nafarroako azken garaiak. Bisita ugari dituen eskualde pribilegiatua Nafarroako iparralderaino mugitzen diren turistek
kalitatea, bakea eta lasaitasunaren bila daudenentzat, natur-jarduera eskaintza zabalekin, kultura eta tradizioa.
IRATI OIhANA
Balio natural eta ekologiko handi batekin, Europako pagadiizeidi handienetako bat da eta urte osoan zehar
erakartasun handia du natura aldetik. Leku honetan aurkitzen ditugu Orbaitzetako Arma Fabrikaren arrastoak,
XVIII. Mendeko bitxi arkeologikoa. Fabrika herri bat zen, hiri txiki bat Iratiko pagadi pirinaikoan. Eraikuntza
interesgarri bezala izendatua. BTT, oinez egiteko hainbat ibilaldi egiteko aukera dago, baita mendi igoerak
edo neguko jarduerak ere (erraketak, Abodin iraupen eskia...) urte guztian zehar ingurune honen kalitatea
baloratzen uzten dutelarik. Aezkoatik Iratira Orbaitzetatik sar daiteke eta Zaraitzutik Iratira Otsagabiatik.
ORHI GAILURRA:
rroako Piriniotako gailurrik altuenetariko da eta Pirinioetako 2 mila metroko mendebalderago dagoen gailurra.
QUINTO REAL: Baso bat non espezie ezberdin ugari ikus daitezkeen elkar bizitzan. Urkiagako mendixkatik
zonaldeko mendi politenera igo daiteke: Adi mendia.
SOROGAIN: Eguna igarotzeko leku aproposa. Bertako askaldegietan janaria presta dezakezu edota ibilaldi
atseginak egin. Lekua, oso hostotsua, inguruko eta frantses aldeko abeltzaintzaren eszenatoki da.
TXINTXURRIMEARKO ARROILA: Lintzoaingo ibarra Erro ibaiak igarotzen du lursaila higatuz. Ardaitz parean
aurkitzen da Arroila arratsaldea pasatzeko eta bertan bainatzeko.
OROZ-BETELUKO HARIZTIA: Garralda eta Oroz-Beteluko hariztia Europako baso garrantzitsuenetakoa da zuhaizti mota honetan. Nagusitzen den zuhaitza haritz kandugabea da.
ARIZTOKIA BEGIRALEKUA: (Aribetik Garraldara). Gailurretik Aribe herria, Irati ibaia pagadi basoa zeharkatzen eta zortea izanez gero haitz inguruetan putreak ibiltzen ikus daitezke.
OTSAGABIA: Zaraitzu ibarreko iparraldean kokatua, 764 metroko altueran, Zatoya eta Anduña ibaiak batzen
diren lekuan, Irati oihanaren ondoan. Nafarroako Pirinioko herririk tipikoena da. Ezugarri ditu, erdi aroko
zubia, harrizko kaleak eta Anduña ibaiko bi alboetako etxe zainduak. Hiribildu honetan Muskildaren dantzak
kontserbatu dituzte urteetan zehar. Urtero Irailak zortzian Muskilda Gure Anderearen Santutegiaren aurrean.
ARZEKO SANTA MARÍA: XII. mendeko erromanikoko altxorra da, Interes Kulturaleko tokia izendatua. Arze
ibarreko lehen kokalekuko azken eraikuntza da.
ORREAGA/RONCESVALLES: Erromesen bilgunea, topaketen eta isiltasunaren lekua. Batailen eta setioen testigua. Lainoak kutsu erlijiosoa estaltzen du. Xarma handia du eta aire mistiko puntu bat.

ERRONKARI: Nafarroako Piriniotako ekialderago dagoen zonaldea da, goimendiko klima eta landaredi ohikoarekin. Ezka ibaiak zeharkatzen du ibar eder hau iparraldetik hegoaldera, haizpitarte handiak, zonaldeko
herrietara eramaten gaituen errepidea sortuz eta paisaia ezin hobeak utziz.
Zazpi herriz osatua dago. Burgi, Bidankoze, Garde, Erronkari, Urzainki, Izaba eta Uztarroze, xarma eta erakartasun handiko goimendiko arkitektura eta ingurune natural paregabe batez inguraturik. Erronkari Ibarrak
erakargarritasun kulturaleko hainbat jarduera eskaintzen ditu (jantziak, dantzak, festak, hiru behien zerga,
almadiaren eguna, museoak, ibilbide kulturalak,…), baita natura (goi-mendia, ibilaldiak, iraupen eta mendi
eskia, zeharbideak, erraketak) eta kirol aldetik ere BTT ibilbideak, txirrindularitza probak (Larra-Larrau, Pax
Avant, Erronkari BTT, Ardibidepikura igoera…), mendi lasterketak (Camile Extrem, duatloia).
BURGI: Burgiko Arroilan barrena Ezka sartzen da arroilak landutako mendi artean. Erdi aroko zubi eder
bat du non urtero almadiak igarotzen diren. Almadiaren museoak erakutsiko dizkigu haiek egiteko tresnak.
BIDANKOZE: Bertako ekonomia abeltzaintzan eta baso esplotazioan oinarritzen da zonaldeko beste herriak
bezala. Abuztuaren azken asteburuan gaueko 12etan Maruxa Sorginaren jaitsiera izaten da, Akelarreari hasiera emanez eta onekin herriko jaiei.
ERRONKARI: Presarik gabe bertatik ibiltzea plazerra da. San Esteban eliza altu batean kokatzen da eta
baserria Ezka ibaiaren inguruan kontzentratzen da. Ezin dugu herri honetaz hitz egin bere seme Julian Gaiarre
tenorea izendatu gabe. Bere patrikatik ordaindu zituen frontoia eta Ibarreko Batzar-etxea. Gaur egun haren
sorterriko etxea bisitatu daiteke museoan bihurtua eta Mariano Benlliuretik egindako Mausoleoa du (herriaren
hilerrian kokatua) interes kultural izendatua.
GARDE: Monumentu natural kontsideratutako intxaurrondo ikusgarri batek agurtzen gaitu sarreran. Piriniotako arkitektura mantentzen du. Bertako frontoian betiko pilota kirola egin daiteke. PR ibilbide batek
Zuberoako Ermitara eramango gaitu. Ez oso urruti bertan bizi diren hartz batzuk aurki daitezke.
URZAINKI: Gure Andere San Salbadorreko ermita gotikoa eta XV. Mendeko dorretxea ditu monumentu nabarmenenak.
IZABA: Biztanle gehien dituen zonaldeko udalerria da eta Belagua eta Belabarzera ibilaldiak hasteko gunea.
Memoria Etxea bisitatzeak merezi du, museoak erronkaritarren ohiturak eta tradizioak biltzen ditu museograUZTARROZE: Santa Engraziren eliza nabarmentzen da. Herrira iritsi baino 2 kilometro lehenago Mintxate
Arroila aurkitzen da, leku ezin hobea ibilaldiak egiteko eta hegazti harrapariak ikusteko.
BELAGUAKO GLAZIAR ERAKO IBARRA: Karst Larrako paisaia ikusgarria, bere sima sakon eta mendi altu
ugariekin, Larra-Belagua Eski zentro nordikoa, San Martin Harriko eski alpinoaren estazioa, Kakoueta eta
Olzarte eztarriak,… Belabarze, Zuriza, Linza (Hiru Errege Maila, Petrechera,… igoera hasten diren zonaldeak)
ibarretara eramaten gaitu ere. Erronkariko Ibarrean ibilbide anitz egin daitezke, baso hostotsuak ezagutzeko,
haren mendi handitsuak eta bertako fauna ugaria, hartz, oreina edo ugatza haien artean.

ThE IRATI FOREST
Factory, a true jewel of 18th century industrial archaeology. The Factory was originally a settlement, a small
city in the Pyrenean beech forest of Irati, and has been declared a Site of Cultural Interest. There are numerous
possibilities for walks or outings, either by foot or by bike, as well as mountain climbs or winter snow activities
(snowshoeing, cross country skiing in Abodi…) making this an attractive spot to visit throughout the year. From
Aezkoa it is possible to reach Irati via Orbaitzeta and from Salazar, via Otsagabia.
PICO DE ORHI:

highest peaks of the Navarre Pyrenees.

interesting forests of their kind in of all of Europe. The sessile oak is the tree that predominates in this forest.
MIRADOR DE ARIZTOKIA: (from Garralda to Aribe). For a different perspective, from the height of this Mirador, one can
view the town of Aribe, the Irati River crossing the beech wood s and, with luck, the many vultures that hang around the cliffs.
OTSAGABIA: Situated to the north of the Valle de Salazar, some 764 metres in height, at the crossroads of
the Zatoya and Anduña rivers, next to the Irati forest. Otsagabia is known as one of the typical towns of the
Navarre Pyrenees region. It is characterized by its medieval bridge, cobbled streets and well preserved houses
that are perched on both sides of the Anduña River. In this town the dances of Muskilda have been maintained
and passed down from generation to generation. Every 8th of September, a celebration is held in front of the
Sanctuary of Nuestra Señora de Muskilda.

BURGUI: At its base, Ezka is situated in the so-called “Foz de Burgui”, carved inside the mountain ranges. It
Museum reveals the materials that were used for its construction.
VIDANGOZ: Like the rest of the towns, its economy is based on livestock and forest exploitation. The last
weekend of August, at 12am midnight, the lowering of the Bruja Maruxa occurs, opening the “Akelarre” and
with it, the patron saint festivities.
RONCAL: It should be enjoyed with plenty of time. The Church of San Esteban is located in the heights of the
town and the hamlet is concentrated around the Ezka River. It is impossible to talk about this town without
Valle. Currently his original home may be visited as it has been transformed into a museum. The mausoleum,
work of Mariano Benlliure (located in the town cemetery) has been declared Site of Cultural Interest.
GARDE: Visitors are welcomed by an enormous walnut tree, declared a Natural Monument. This town maintains the typical Pyrenean architecture. In its pediment, the typical sport of the region, la pelota, is played in its different varieties (handball, stickball, etc.). A PR trail leads us to the Hermitage of Zuberoa. Not very far away live the bears that reside in the area.
URZAINQUI: Of special note is its church, the Gothic hermitage of Nuestra Señora de San Salvador and a
tower-house from the 15th century.
ISABA: This is the most populated town and the centre for many excursions throughout the Belagua and BelaValley traditions and customs with a modern museography. A PR trail leads us to the Hermit of Idoya (7th century).
UZTARROZ: Special attention should be paid to the Church of Santa Engracia. Two kilometres before reaching
GLACIER VALLEY OF BELAGUA: The impressive landscapes of Karst de Larra, with numerous and deep chasms
and high mountains, the Larra-Belagua Centre of Cross Country Skiing, the alpine ski station of the Piedra de San
Martín, the gorges of Kakoueta and Oltzarte… It also leads us to the Valley of Belabarce, Zuriza and Linza (where
ascents begin leading to the Mesa de los Tres Reyes, Petrechema…). Many routes may be taken across the entire
Roncal Valley, to discover the lushness of its forests, the majesty of its mountains and the richness of its fauna, with
species such as bears, deer and bearded vultures, among many others.

Aralar eta Urbasa-Andia mendiak
Basoz eta zelaiz inguratuak izaki, Aralarko mendilerroaren eta Urbasaren babespean, natur paisaia erakargarri baten osagai dira hango ibar berdeek: Larraun, Imotz, Araitz, Ultzama, Leitzaran eta Sakana.
Ezin toki hobean gaude, eta ingurune ezin zoragarriagoa dugu gozatzeko; eta hainbat ostatu abegikor, lasaitasun eta patxada osoz atseden hartzeko. Toki honetako paisaia eta txoko ederrek, berriz, zentzumen guztiak
pizten dizkio edonori. Abiaburu ezinbestekoa da, bisita eta txango ezinago ikusgarriak egiteko.
Kultura berezikoa izaki, historiak aztarna ugari ditu bazter guztietan, lehengoak eta oraingoak, dasta gozoko
gastronomia… Gorputza eta burua gozatzeko, bertan, naturarekiko harremanean.
Denboraz kanpokoa eta abegikorra izaki, urteko edozein sasoitan gozatzeko modukoa da Aralar-Urbasa: bai

Nafarroako iparraldean gaude, ibar berdeetan antolatutako lurralde batean: hainbat ibai nagusik bustitzen
dute, eta Aralarko mendilerroak, Urbasak eta Andiak inguratzen dute.
Ibar eta mendi horiek, berriz, basoen baso izugarri batek zeharkatzen ditu alderik alde, gune natural berezi
bat osatzeraino; hortxe bizi izan dira urte askoan elkarrekin natura eta gizakiak, tokia elkarrekin partekatuz,

orkatzak, hontzak eta azeriak bizigarri; monasterioak eta mila urtetik gorako trikuharriak gizakien adierazgarri; larre landuak latxa artaldeen, behien, behorren eta zaldien bazkaleku. Baso magikoak dira, herri eta
baserriak ageri dituztenak nonahi, inguru horretako mundua modu batera ulertzen duen jendearen bizitoki.
Paseoan ibiltzea oinez, bizikletaz zein zaldiz; horrelako ingurune pribilegiatu batean bisitan ibiltzea, autoz;

RUTA DEL VINO DE NAVARRA:
Nos encontramos en una zona de Navarra tradicionalmente vitivinícola, donde el vino forma parte de nuestras
raíces, y es la base económica de muchos de nuestros pueblos. Por ello hemos trabajado en el desarrollo de
este proyecto, Ruta del vino de Navarra, con mucho cariño para que podáis:
– Visitar y conocer nuestras bodegas, sus instalaciones y su buen hacer.
– Degustación de sus caldos (catas de vino).
– Paseos a caballo entre viñedos.
– Senderismo por sus miradores y senderos.
– Maridajes gastronómicos.
SENDEROS MICOLÓGICOS EN VALDORBA:
Para los amantes de la micología y la naturaleza, encontrarán en Valdorba unos parajes ricos en estos frutos
tan preciados, para su disfrute y cuidado se han preparado unos senderos señalizados, a su vez se suelen
realizar diferentes actividades a lo largo del año.
OBSERVACIÓN DE AVES Y NATURALEZA:
Os sorprenderán los paisajes de Navarra media, visitando la LAGUNA DE PITILLAS, FOCES DE LUMBIER Y DE
ARBAYUN, EL DESIERTO DE LASBARDENAS, donde disponéis de unos puntos de observación de Aves, para los
amantes de la ornitología, y también senderos señalizados con diferentes itinerarios para disfrutar del sosiego.

La Ribera
Es una comarca de la comunidad foral de Navarra situada al sur de la misma enclavada en el valle del Ebro. La
Ribera presenta una gran tradición en horticultura, Cogollos de Tudela, Alcachofas, Cardo, Borrajas, y etc. que
unido a sus excelentes vinos la convierten en una zona gastronómica muy especial.
Sus paisajes, espacios naturales, y el parque de diversión familiar Sendaviva hacen de esta comarca un lugar
muy recomendable para visitar en cualquier época del año.
BARDENAS REALES
El Parque Natural de las Bardenas Reales conforma el paisaje más característico de la Ribera de Navarra.
Las Bardenas constituyen un espacio privilegiado de alto valor naturalístico, en el que podemos disfrutar del
senderismo, cicloturismo de ruta y otras actividades al aire libre. Podemos acceder al parque desde Arguedas
o Valtierra.
Este espacio de 42.500 hectáreas es fruto de la erosión de los materiales geológicos (arcillas, yesos y areniscas)
procedentes del plegamiento pirenáico. El resultado es un inmenso laberinto de altas mesetas o planas y cerros
testigo o cabezos, recortados en el horizonte. Algunas zonas tienen un aspecto casi lunar y otras nos recuerdan
al más genuino Far West americano.
Este territorio perteneció a la corona de Navarra. Se cedía su uso a los pastores de ovejas de los valles pirenaicos de Salazar y Roncal, como pastos de invierno. Esta práctica sigue renovándose cada año el 18 de
septiembre. El ritual recibe el nombre de la Sanmiguelada.
Podemos dividir el parque en tres grandes zonas: la Bardena Blanca, el Plano y la Bardena Negra. La Bardena
característicos y conocidos de las Bardenas.
Aquí se encuentra, por ejemplo, el famoso Cabezo de Castildetierra, un original cerro modelado por la erosión
de millones de años.
La escasa vegetación de la Bardena Blanca está compuesta por arbustos de romero, tomillo, ontino, sisallo y
esparto. Viven aquí pequeñas aves esteparias que pueden avistarse: la alondra, la cogujada común, la ortega
y la ganga.
La Bardena Negra, en la parte más meridional, presenta más vegetación, con masas arbóreas de pino carrasco.
Su paisaje es de arcillas rojas y tierras calizas.
La tercera zona, el Plano de Bardenas, es una gran meseta que se encuentra al norte. En las Bardenas Reales
existen carreteras y caminos señalizados que posibilitan la observación de los ecosistemas. Existe la posibilidad
de realizar visitas a pie, a caballo BTT y en automovil. Algunos de ellos, en las zonas más sensibles, sólo pueden
realizarse en vehículos no motorizados.
GASTRONOMÍA DE LA RIBERA
La Ribera de Navarra, regada por los ríos Ebro y Arga, ofrece unas condiciones inmejorables para mantener
una huerta frondosa y fresca. Por ello la industria conservera y agroalimentaria tiene aquí una importante
presencia.
El plato más conocido en nuestra zona es la menestra de verduras. Es un guiso hecho con espárragos, alcachofas, guisantes y habas frescas fundamentalmente, un sabroso plato lleno de vitaminas.

CASTELLANO
Las alubias pochas también son típicas de la zona. Reciben este nombre por su color pálido. Es un plato suave
y tierno propio del verano.
Lo que no faltará nunca en ningún restaurante son los cogollos de Tudela, los espárragos y los pimientos del
piquillo, típicos pimientos rojos de sabor dulce, cultivados en Lodosa.
Excelentes vinos tintos, blancos o rosados pueden catarse en cualquier establecimiento, acompañados de embutidos, guisos, asados o rica menestra.
No faltan el La Ribera de Navarra las bodegas de renombre en Olite, Cintruénigo, Murchante o Falces entre
otras. Algunas de ellas ofrecen visitas guiadas sobre las que les podemos informar.

pire neotako tolesturetatik sortua. Emaitza meseta altuen edo baxuen labirinto mugagabea eta muino edo tontorrak
dira, horizontean ebakiak. Zonalde batzuk ilargiarrak dirudite eta beste batzuk amerikar Far Westa gogoratzen dute.
Lurralde hau Nafarroako koroari zegokion. Haren erabilera Zaraitzu eta Erronkariko artzainei uzten zitzaien negurako larre bezala. Urtero irailaren 18an jarduera hau berregiten da. Errituak Sanmigueladaren izena hartzen du.
Parkea hiru zonalde handitan bana daiteke: Bardea Zuria, Zapala eta Bardea Beltza. Bardea Zuria, parkearen
parte zentralean, gatza azalarazten duen depresio handi batek osatzen du. Bista bikainak dira Arguedasko
Nuestra Señora del Yugoko Santutegitik. Adibidez hemen aurkitzen da Castildetierra famatua, milioika urtez
erosioak moldatutako muinoa.
Bardea Zuriaren landaredi urriak erromeroaren zuhaixkak, ezkaia, ontinoa, sisalloa eta espartzuaz osatua
dago. Hemen bizi dira begiztatu ahal diren estepako hegazti txikiak: hegatxabala, kutturlio arrunta, ganga-azpibeltza eta ganga.
Bardea Beltza hegoaldeko zonaldea da, landaredi gehiago aurkezten du, aleppo pinuaren zuhaitz masekin.
Haren paisaia buztin gorrikoa eta kareharri lurrezkoa da.
Hirugarren zonaldea, Bardeetako Zapala, iparraldean aurkitzen den meseta izugarria da. Errege Bardeetan seinaleztaturik dauden bideak aurkitzen dira ekosistemaren behaketa laguntzen dutenak. Oinez, zaldiz BTT eta kotxez
bisitatzeko aukera dago, nahiz eta zonalde sentikorretan motorrik gabeko ibilgailuez bakarrik egin daitezkeen.
ERRIBERAKO GASTRONOMIA
Nafarroako Erriberak, Ebro eta Arga ibaiaz bustia, kondizio ezin hobeak eskaintzen ditu baratze hostotsu eta freskoa

This is a region situated to the south of the autonomous community of Navarre, nestled in the Ebro valley. La
Ribera has a long tradition of horticulture, and is known for its Tudela lettuce hearts, artichokes, cardo (thistle)
and borage, for example, which together with its excellent wines make it a very special area for cuisine.

BARDENAS REALES
The Bardenas Reales Natural Park forms the most characteristic landscape in the Ribera de Navarra. It is an
area of high natural beauty, where you can enjoy hiking, a cycling route and other outdoor activities. The park
can be accessed from Arguedas and Valtierra.
This area of 42,500 hectares is the result of the erosion of geological materials (clay, chalk and sandstone) from
the Pyrenean fold. The result is a huge labyrinth of high plateaus or plains and hills silhouetted against the
horizon. Some areas have an almost lunar appearance and others are reminiscent of the American Wild West.
The territory belonged to the crown of Navarre, and its use was handed over to shepherds in the Pyrenean
valleys of Salazar and Roncal for winter pasture. This practice still continues and starts every year on September

The Bardena Negra, in the southernmost part has more vegetation, with more aleppo pine trees. Its landscape
is marl, with red clay and limestone.
The third zone, the Plano de Bardenas, is a large plateau lying to the north. In the Bardenas Reales, there are
roads and marked trails for observing its ecosystems. You can also visit the area on foot, go mountain-bike
riding or travel by car. Some of the most sensitive areas, however, can only be reached on foot or by bicycle.

Las características y funcionamiento de los albergues están regulados por la Orden Foral del Gobierno de Navarra
140/2005 de 5 de diciembre. Sus aspectos más destacados son:
Los albergues turísticos son aquellos que ofrecen el servicio de alojamiento en habitaciones múltiples (entendiendo
por habitaciones múltiples las que tienen capacidad igual o superior a 4 plazas), junto con la práctica de alguna
actividad relacionada con el entorno.
ATERPETXEAK
En el precio del alojamiento se considerarán incluidos la pernoctación, que comprende el uso del colchón, con funda
protectora, almohada con funda extraíble y mantas, el uso de las salas destinadas a los clientes y de los servicios
higiénicos.
Deberá ofertarse el préstamo de sábanas y toallas, que podrán facturarse separadamente del precio del alojamiento.
Queda prohibida la pernoctación en el establecimiento sin el uso de sábanas, propias o prestadas por el albergue, o
al menos saco de dormir.
Los albergues podrán acordar normas de régimen interior sobre el uso de los servicios e instalaciones.

Las características y funcionamiento de los hostales están regulados por el Decreto Foral 146/2005, de 26 de diciembre, de ordenación de los establecimientos hoteleros de Navarra.
Establecimiento hotelero es aquel que se dedica de modo profesional o habitual a prestar alojamiento a las personas
con o sin servicios de carácter complementario.
Se denominarán hostales los establecimientos que reuniendo las características propias de un hotel carecen de entradas,
ascensores y escaleras para uso independiente y exclusivo de sus clientes, y cumplen los requisitos técnicos exigidos.
Podrán ser declarados hostales rurales los que reúnan las siguientes características:
a) Disponer de un máximo de treinta habitaciones.
b) Estar ubicados en poblaciones de menos de cinco mil habitantes. No obstante, podrán radicar en municipios de
hasta diez mil habitantes siempre que se encuentren situados fuera del núcleo urbano.

Se consideran actividades de turismo activo, reguladas por el Decreto Foral 288/2044, aquellas que se practiquen
sirviéndose básicamente de los recursos que ofrece la propia naturaleza en el medio en el que se desarrollan, sea
esfuerzo físico o de destreza para su práctica.

llegan antes de las 20:00 horas del día de entrada, se entenderá anulada la reserva, salvo que previamente
se concrete una hora de llegada posterior.
