Stage Entertainment a le plaisir de vous annoncer le développement d’une nouvelle comédie
musicale inspirée de la vie de la « Reine du Rock » Tina Turner.
Vendredi 16 décembre 2016, Tina Turner a rejoint les équipes créatives et de production à
Londres lors d’un workshop de présentation de ce nouveau spectacle.
La dramaturge Katori Hall ainsi que les acteurs Frank Ketelaar et Kees Prins, la réalisatrice
Phyllidia Lloyd, le concepteur de décors et costumes Mark Thompson, le chorégraphe Anthony
Van Laast et le directeur musical Nicholas Skilbeck collaborent à ce projet inédit.
« Nous travaillons sur ce spectacle depuis plus d’un an maintenant, et je suis ravie de pouvoir
partager cette information alors que nous entamons un nouveau chapitre de cette aventure.
Cela a été merveilleux de collaborer avec Katori et Phyllidia, et de voir mon histoire reprise par
une équipe aussi exceptionnelle, c’est tellement excitant. Londres a toujours eu une place
spéciale dans mon cœur et c’est formidable d’y être de retour » a déclaré Tina Turner.

projet. Tina est une légende de la musique et ses chansons cultes vont de pair avec la force de

Stage Entertainment are pleased to confirm they are developing a new musical based on music
legend Tina Turner’s story.
Today, Friday 16 December 2016, Tina Turner joined the creative and producing teams in London at a
workshop presentation of the new piece.
Collaborating on this world premier are writer Katori Hall, with Frank Ketelaar and Kees Prins, director
Phyllida Lloyd, set and costume designer Mark Thompson, choreography Anthony van Laast and
musical supervisor Nicholas Skilbeck.
Tina Turner said: “We have been working on the musical for over a year now and today I am delighted
to be able to share our news as we begin the next chapter of our journey. It has been wonderful to
collaborate with Katori and Phyllida and to have my story nurtured by such an amazing creative team is
thrilling. London has always had a very special place in my heart and it’s wonderful to be back.”
