This international seminar is organised by The
Engineering Group of the Geological Society, British
Geotechnical Association, Institute of Highways and
Transportation and the International Geosynthetics
Society UK Chapter to discuss and promote
technical progress and understanding of recent
issues in the design and construction of earthworks
in European countries.

The two day event is to include reception drinks during
the poster session at the Royal Geographical Society and
a bowl food dinner in the Making of the Modern World
gallery at the Science Museum.
Selected papers given by the keynote speakers and
presenters will be collated into an Engineering Group
Special Publication. Posters are welcome. Please use the
contact details to find information on poster submission
and sponsorship opportunities.

Geological Society and will be available from the Geological Society after the event in late 2009.
