Les adjectifs irréguliers ♦ Irregular adjectives are adjectives (words that describe a noun) that do not always follow a pattern and are “exceptions” to a rule. ♦ Remember that adjectives accord in gender (feminine and masculine) and number (singular and plural) to the noun they are describing REVIEW REGULAR ADJECTIVES Masculine Singular – remains the same Masculine Plural – add an “s” Feminine Singular – add an “e” Feminine Plural – add an “es” Ex: un chandail vert Ex: des chandails verts Ex: une robe verte Ex: des robes vertes ARTICLES Masculine Singular = un, le, l’ Feminine Singular = une, la, l’ Plural articles = des, les ♦ There are a number of irregular adjectives in French.
