Declarations
contained in a Note verbale from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Regional
Integration and International Trade of the Republic of Mauritius deposited with the
intrument of accession on 15 November 2013 – Or. Engl.
In line with the relevant provisions of the Convention on Cybercrime, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Regional
Integration and International Trade of the Republic of Mauritius wishes to inform of the following designations
by the authorities in Mauritius:
As per Article 24, paragraph 7(a), the Prime Minister’s Office, Government Centre, Port Louis, as the authority
responsible for making or receiving requests for extradition or provisional arrest in the absence of a treaty.
As per Article 27, paragraph 2, the central authorities responsible for sending and answering requests for
mutual assistance, the execution of such requests or their transmission to the authorities competent for their
execution will be:
a) the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, Level 9, Air Mauritius Centre, President
John Kennedy Street, Port Louis;
b) the Information and Communication Technologies Authority, Level 12, The Celicourt 6, Sir Celicourt
Antelme Street, Port Louis;
c) the Mauritius Police Force, Line Barracks, Port Louis.
As per Article 35, Mrs Bhooneshwari Kissoon-Luckputtya, Assistant Permanent Secretary, will be the focal
point and contact available on a 24-hour, seven-day basis, in order to ensure the provision of immediate
assistance for the purpose of investigations or proceedings concerning criminal offences related to computer
systems and data etc.:

l'Intégration régionale et du Commerce international de la République de Maurice
déposée avec l’instrument d’adhésion le 15 novembre 2013 – Or. angl.
Conformément aux dispositions pertinentes de la Convention sur la Cybercriminalité, le Ministère des Affaires
Etrangères, de l'Intégration régionale et du Commerce international de la République de Maurice désigne les
autorités suivantes :
Conformément à l’article 24, paragraphe 7(a), le Cabinet du Premier Ministre, Centre du Gouvernement, Port
Louis, en tant qu’autorité responsable de l’envoi ou de la réception d’une demande d’extradition ou
d’arrestation provisoire, en l’absence de traité.
Conformément à l’article 27, paragraphe 2, les autorités centrales chargées d'envoyer les demandes d'entraide
ou d'y répondre, de les exécuter ou de les transmettre aux autorités compétentes pour leur exécution sont :
a) le Ministère de l’Information et des Technologies de la Communication, niveau 9, Centre Air Mauritius,
rue Président John Kennedy, Port Louis ;
b) l’Autorité de l’Information et des Technologies de la Communication, niveau 12, The Celicourt 6, rue Sir
Celicourt Antelme, Port Louis.
c) les Forces de Police de Maurice, Line Barracks, Port Louis.
Conformément à l’article 35, Mme Bhooneshwari Kissoon-Luckputtya, Secrétaire Permanente Adjointe, sera le
point de contact joignable vingt-quatre heures sur vingt-quatre, sept jours sur sept, afin d’assurer une
assistance immédiate pour des investigations concernant les infractions pénales liées à des systèmes et à des
données informatiques etc. :
