Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Intended Use
Das Produkt ist zum Anschluss an einen PC-kompatiblen Computer mit USB-Schnittstelle vorgesehen und dient dort durch die Drehbewegung des Rotors zur Erzeugung eines Luftstroms.
The product is intended for connection to a PC-compatible computer with USB interface and
serves to generate airflow there by the rotation of the rotor.

Safety Notices
Der Lüfter verfügt über flexible Lüfterblätter. Diese erlauben einen Betrieb des
Lüfters ohne Schutzgehäuse, da sich die Lüfterblätter bei Berührung verformen (herkömmliche starre Lüfterblätter könnten schwere Verletzungen verursachen).
The cooler has flexible cooler blades. This allows the operation of the cooler without
protective casing, as the cooler blades deform when touched (common stiff cooler
blades can lead to grave injuries).
Sie sollten die Drehung des Rotors mit den Lüfterblättern aber trotzdem nicht mit
Fingern oder Gegenständen behindern, da dadurch der Motor oder die Lüfterblätter
beschädigt werden können!
However, you should still not hamper the rotation of the rotor with the cooler blades
with your fingers or items as this may damage the motor or the cooler blades!

Anschluss
• Verbinden Sie den USB-Stecker Typ A des Geräts mit einem freien USB-Port Ihres PCs.

Der USB-Port muss ein sog. High-Power-USB-Port sein. Dies ist ein USB-Port, der
einen Strom von 500mA liefern kann, z.B. ein USB-Port eines Mainboards oder eines
USB-Hubs mit eigenem Netzteil.
Auch USB-Ports von fast allen Notebooks liefern ausreichend Strom für den Lüfter.
• Sofort nach dem Anschluss beginnt sich der Lüfter zu drehen.

Windows erkennt KEINE neue Hardware, da der Lüfter nur die Stromversorgung des
USB-Ports (+5V= und Masse/GND) benutzt, nicht aber die Datenleitungen.

The USB port must be a so-called high-power USB port. This is a USB port that can provide a current of 500 mA, e.g. USB port of a mainboard or a hub with own power pack.
The USB ports of almost all notebooks provide sufficient power for the cooler.
• The cooler starts rotating right after connection.

Windows DOES NOT detect any new hardware, as the cooler only uses the power supply of the USB port (+5V = and ground /GND) but not the data lines.
• Adjust the movable swan neck in such a way that the air current flows in the desired direction.
• Verstellen Sie den beweglichen Schwanenhals so, dass der Luftstrom in die gewünschte
Richtung geht.
Tips and Notices
Tipps & Hinweise
• USB ports of a USB hub without own power supply are not suited for the connection of the
cooler, as such USB ports can only provide a maximum current of 100 mA.
• USB-Ports eines USB-Hubs ohne eigene Stromversorgung sind für den Anschluss des Lüfters
nicht geeignet, da solche USB-Ports nur einen maximalen Strom von 100mA liefern können.
• Eine leichte Verformung der Lüfterblätter bei stillstehendem Rotor (z.B. bei Lieferung in der
Verpackung oder bei Transport) ist völlig normal und hat keine negativen Auswirkungen auf
die Funktion. Bei der Drehung des Rotors werden die Lüfterblätter durch die Fliehkraft nach
außen gedrückt, die Verformung verschwindet.

• A slight deformation of the cooler blades when the rotor stands still (e.g. upon delivery in the
package or during transport) is completely normal and has no negative effect on the function. When the rotor rotates, the cooler blades are pressed outwards due to the centrifugal
force and the deformation disappears.

Ce produit a été conçu afin d’être branché sur un ordinateur compatible PC équipé d’une interface USB où la rotation du rotor permet de créer un courant d´air.

Caractéristiques
• Alimentation électrique via le port USB (port USB High power requis, provenant par ex. de la
carte mère ou d´un concentrateur USB équipé de son propre bloc d´alimentation, consommation de courant du ventilateur : env. 150mA).
• Col de cygne mobile pour mise au point.
• Pales de ventilateur souples et flexibles rendant ainsi tout carter protecteur inutile. Absence
de risque de blessures.
Consignes de sécurité
Le ventilateur possède des pales flexibles permettant son fonctionnement sans carter protecteur ; les pales du ventilateur se déforment au contact (les pales classiques rigides peuvent causer de graves blessures).
Ne pas empêcher toutefois avec les doigts ou des objets que le rotor des pales de
ventilateur tourne, ceci pourrait endommager le moteur ou les pales !
Raccordement
• Raccordez la fiche USB de type A de l´appareil à un port USB libre de votre PC.

Le port USB doit être un port USB dit High power. Il s´agit d´un port qui peut fournir un
courant de 500 mA tel que le port USB d´une carte mère ou d´un concentrateur avec
son propre bloc d´alimentation.
Egalement tous les ports USB de presque tous les ordinateurs portables fournissent
suffisamment de courant pour le ventilateur.
• Le ventilateur se met à tourner immédiatement après avoir effectué le branchement.

Windows ne détecte AUCUN matériel informatique nouveau étant donné que le ventilateur n´utilise que l´alimentation électrique du port USB (+5V = et masse/GND) mais
pas les lignes de données.
• Ajustez le col de cygne mobile de manière à diriger le courant d´air dans la direction désirée.
Conseils & indications
• Les ports USB d´un concentrateur USB sans alimentation électrique propre ne conviennent
pas pour le raccordement du ventilateur, ce type de ports USB ne pouvant fournir qu´un courant maximal de 100mA.
• Une légère déformation des pales du ventilateur lorsque le rotor est à l´arrêt (en cas de livraison dans l´emballage ou en cas de transport par ex.) est tout à fait normal, celle-ci n´a
aucune influence négative sur le fonctionnement.Lors de la rotation du rotor, la force centrifuge pousse les pales du ventilateur vers l´extérieur, la déformation disparaît.
