Present position
Maı̂tre d’enseignement et de recherches (MER) at the
Laboratoire de Physique des Hautes Energies (SB/IPEP/LPHE) (EPFL)
in charge of the following courses :
• “General Physics I and II” (1rst and 2nd years)
for the students in Biology of the UNIL
• “General Physics ” (1rst year)
for the students in Géo-sciences and environment of the UNIL.
• “Fondements physiques des techniques biomédicales” (optional)
for students in Biology.
• “Chapitres choisis de Physique des Particules” (optional)
(Master II at l’EPFL).
As MER, supervision many Master works
and supervision of many PhD thesis at the LPHE.
Invited professor at the filière francophone
“Physique Corpusculaire et Applications” of the Faculty of Physics,
the University of Natural Sciences of Hà Nôi (Viêt Nam),

Research
The LHCb experiment at CERN :
construction of the Inner Tracker built out from Si microstrip detectors,
sensitivity studies of the experiment to some physical parameters.
