SCARABEO fondata nel 1974, nasce con lo scopo della produzione di accessori da bagno
in porcellana. In pochi anni, grazie all’impegno e alla serietà dimostrata, riesce ad affermarsi
sia sul mercato nazionale che internazionale. L’elevata qualità la portano alla collaborazione
con le più importanti aziende mondiali produttrici di sanitari. La continua ricerca di novità
è una delle qualità che hanno sempre caratterizzato la vita dell’azienda sapendosi sempre
evolversi con le richieste che il mercato via via sollecitava. E’ da questa continua evoluzione la
presentazione, da alcuni anni a questa parte, di nuove linee di lavabi d’arredamento costituite
attualmente da una gamma molto ampia ed in continua espansione. La filosofia aziendale è
quella di rendere il lavabo protagonista del bagno e di impegnarsi al massimo nello studio di
nuove linee e nuovi modelli, per soddisfare un mercato sempre più esigente, di non puntare
su grandi quantità, ma sulla qualità e sulla unicità dei prodotti.

accessories. In the space of a few years, thanks to its reliability and commitment, the company
firmly secured its position in both the national and international markets. The high quality of
its products enabled the company to collaborate with some of the most renowned international manufacturers of bathroom fixtures. The constant search for new products has always
been a distinguishing feature of the company, which – over the years – has consistently proven
its ability to keep track of the evolving demands of the market. This continuous evolution
eventually led to the introduction of new washbasin ranges, and the company now offers an
extremely broad and ever-expanding range of products. The company’s philosophy is geared
towards making the washbasin the focus of the bathroom and dedicating all its energies to
creating new ranges and models for satisfying an increasingly demanding market, while putting
the emphasis on quality – rather than quantity – and the uniqueness of its products.
Fondée en 1974, l’entreprise SCARABEO est née avec pour objectif la production d’accessoires de salle de bains en porcelaine. En quelques années, grâce à son engagement et son
sérieux, elle est parvenue à s’affirmer à la fois sur le marché italien et international. La haute
qualité de ses produits l’a menée à collaborer avec les plus grands fabricants mondiaux de
sanitaires. La recherche continue de nouveautés est l’une des qualités qui ont depuis toujours
caractérisé la vie de l’entreprise. Cette dernière a en effet su se développer et s’adapter
aux demandes d’un marché en constante évolution. C’est cette évolution qui a mené à la
présentation, depuis quelques années, de nouvelles lignes de lavabos aujourd’hui composées
d’une gamme très étendue et en expansion continue. La philosophie de l’entreprise consiste
à faire du lavabo un acteur à part entière de la salle de bains et à s’engager au maximum dans
l’étude de nouvelles lignes et de nouveaux modèles afin de satisfaire un marché de plus en
plus exigent, sans cibler une production en grande quantité mais plutôt la qualité et l’aspect
unique des produits.

Mizu, disegnato da Emo design, è
un lavabo in ceramica dalla raffinata
eleganza. Rappresenta una proposta
innovativa che ripensa l’architettura di
questo oggetto, qui pensato come un
volume composto da più componenti
che definiscono la “scocca esterna”. In
essa il taglio della calotta superiore che
disegna la grafica dell’oggetto, svolge la
primaria funzione di drenare l’acqua
all’interno, dove si trova lo scarico.

represents an innovative solution
that rethinks the object’s traditional
architecture. Here the washbasin is
thought like a volume composed of
many components that define the
external shell. The central cut of the
superior cap, which designs the object’s
graphic, drains the water in the bowl,
where the drain hole is hidden.

raffinée. Il représente une proposition
innovatrice
qui
réinterprète
l’architecture de cet objet, maintenant
conçu comme un volume composé
par plusieurs parties qui définissent la
« coque extérieure ». Sur elle, la coupe
de la calotte supérieure, qui dessine la
graphique de l’objet, a la fonction de
drainer l’eau à l’intérieur, où se trouve
l’évacuation.

Architektur dieses Objekts komplett
neu erfindet, hier mit einem Volumen,
der sich aus mehreren Komponenten

in der Schale zeichnet die Grafik des
Objekts, ist aber in erster Linie der
Abfluss.

Arco è un lavabo ad incasso che si presta a molte
configurazioni ed utilizzi, declinato in due misure, 60
o 80 cm. Le linee leggermente arcuate, da cui il nome
del prodotto, il pianetto interno ribassato e il bordo
estremamente sottile conferiscono al lavabo eleganza
e leggerezza e lo rendono adatto ad ambientazioni sia
classiche che di design. Il bacino ampio e profondo
risponde alle nuove tendenze di arredo del bagno e
permette di utilizzarlo non solo come lavabo d’arredo
ma anche come vaschetta per lavare qualche capo di
biancheria. Il profilo del lavabo, caratterizzato da un
bordo leggermente bombato, sottolinea il disegno
del prodotto e permette di incassare una parte della
profondità restituendo leggerezza.
Arco is a recessed washbasin which has many
configurations and uses, available in two sizes, 60 or 80
cm. The slightly arched lines, from which the product
gets its name, the lowered inner surface and the
extremely slender edge make the washbasin elegant
and light, and also suitable for both classic and design
surroundings. The wide and deep basin reflect current
design trends for bathrooms and allow it to be used
not only as a washbasin but also as a tub for washing
clothes. The profile of the washbasin, with its slightly
convex edge, emphasises the design of the product
and allows it to be partially recessed, giving a lighter
appearance.
Arco est un lavabo encastrable prévu pour de
nombreuses configurations et de nombreux usages. Il
se décline en deux formats : 60 ou 80 cm. Ses lignes
légèrement arquées, qui lui ont d’ailleurs valu son nom,
le plateau intérieur rabaissé et le bord fin confèrent au
lavabo une élégance et une légèreté idéales pour les
espaces classiques ou design. Le bassin large et profond
répond aux nouvelles tendances de l’aménagement de
salle de bain. Il permet une utilisation comme lavabo
décoratif, mais aussi comme vasque pour la lessive. Le
profil du lavabo se distingue par un bord légèrement
bombé, qui met en valeur le design et permet
l’encastrement partiel, soulignant ainsi davantage la
légèreté de l’ensemble.
Arco ist ein Einbauwaschbecken, dass sich, auch dank
der zwei verschiedenen Größen mit 60 oder 80 cm
für die unterschiedlichsten Konfigurationen und
Verwendungen eignet. Die leicht geneigten Linien, die
dem Produkt den Namen geben, wobei Arco Bogen
bedeutet, die abgesetzte Ablage und der sehr schmale
Rand verleihen dem Waschbecken die Eleganz und
Leichtigkeit, dank derer es sowohl in klassische als
auch Designbäder passt. Das große und tiefe Becken
entspricht den heutigen Tendenzen für die Einrichtung
des Bades und kann bei Gelegenheit auch zum
Auswaschen von Handwäsche verwendet werden.
Das Profil des Waschbeckens zeichnet sich durch
einen leicht gewölbten Rand aus, der das Design des
Produkts unterstreicht. Zudem kann damit ein Teil
der Beckentiefe eingebaut werden, womit das große
Becken seine Leichtigkeit zurückgewinnt.

interpreta il continuo fluire dell’acqua
attraverso linee convesse che si
risolvono in superfici morbide,
accarezzando l’utente. La forma
armonica e precisa del lavabo è ripresa
nei complementi del sistema quali gli
specchi e la consolle in tondino di ferro.

The project design interprets the
continuous flowing of water through
convex lines becoming soft surfaces,
caressing the user. The harmonic and
precise shape of the washbasin is taken
up again in the complements of the
system, such as mirrors and iron-rod
console table.

flusso dell‘acqua, il risultato è un
getto d‘acqua attivo e vigoroso,

The shape of the flangeless
Scarabeo Clean Flush WC® allows
an efficient flow of water, the result
of a dynamic and vigorous jet which
forms a horizontal circle before the
water is flushed vertically and thus
rinses the entire inside surface of the
bowl, without splashing.
This guarantees an excellent flush
with less water. The bowl is easily
accessible and therefore
very easy to clean.
