Dear colleagues,
Anterior approaches for hip surgery have been gaining interest again over
the past few years, which is why FUTURA, the GECO group devoted to the
hip, is pleased to invite you to a discussion day on this topic.
The various different approaches commonly used will be presented, including
some live surgeries, along with the accessories that may be required to
implement them. There are several options: table extension, orthopaedic
table, specific spacers, etc.
Bearing in mind that all these approaches have their own specificities and
are sometimes long to learn, we will be calling on our experienced colleagues
to share their advice, tips and hints to help the preparation of those who
might be tempted.
We all hope that by the end of the day, we will have a better idea of whether
our respective choices really are the best in terms of approach, technique and
results.
