SDC Lifting Wire Hydraulic Release System
COMEX standard releasable sockets are designed and approved for lifting wire ropes from Ø 22 mm to
Ø 42 mm. Other designs are available upon request.
The socket eye is hold directly by the ram rod. Removing the rod releases the socket.
The hydraulic ram is actuated by a manual pump located inside the bell. COMEX standard is to operate all
the bell hydraulic release systems from 1 pump and to use a Release System Selection Panel to operate
every function one after the other.
