c r e e k and t h e f i n d i n g of c o a r s e gold w a s r e p o r t e d . F u r t h e r work
was r e p o r t e d by A . E . Floyd i n 1935 and by a number o f i n d i v i d u a l s
i n 1941.

r e c o v e r p l a c e r g o l d i n t h e l a t e 1960's. The d i s c o v e r y of
scheelite i n the placer concentrate shifted t h e i r i n t e r e s t t o the
s e a r c h f o r t u n g s t e n , They i n c o r p o r a t e d Northern Tungsten Mines
