The 25 Macarons
of Macaron Day
As well as the donations collected by
the volunteers, the Maison Pierre
Hermé Paris will donate a percentage of its sales from Macaron Day
to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
And, for the first time this year, to
fully celebrate Macaron Day, certain
Pierre Hermé Paris boutiques will
extend this operation until Saturday
22nd or Sunday 23rd March.

Partner for this 3rd UK edition of
Macaron Day, the Cystic Fibrosis
Trust fights to beat a chronically
misunderstood disease. Cystic Fibrosis
kills thousands worldwide and is
carried unknowingly in the genes of
millions. It is often invisible to the
naked eye yet destroys lives, stopping
them short, inflicting hardship and
distress on patients, their families
and carers. Cystic Fibrosis affects
around 10,000 people in the UK.
The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is here to
make a daily difference to the lives
of those with cystic fibrosis and the
people who care for them. The Trust
funds innovative research as well as
supporting those affected by the
condition.
Macaron Day will play a part in the
Trust’s Big Cake Bake month, during
which special events will be held to
mark the charity’s 50th year.

For the 9th consecutive year, the
Maison Pierre Hermé Paris celebrates
Macaron Day on Thursday 20th March
2014.
Along with other pastry chefs,
members of the Relais Desserts
association, the teams from the
Maison Pierre Hermé Paris are
mobilising to collect funds and raise
awareness around cystic fibrosis, by
offering all food lovers a macaron in
exchange for a donation to the
benefit of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
