After Restaurant Gill and its gourmet cuisine and Le 37 and its world cuisine comes Bistro
Gill, Gilles and Sylvie Tournadre’s third restaurant in Rouen. A project that came about to remind
diners of an all-too often forgotten fact: professionnel chefs are also good bistro chefs!
Together with his business partner Philippe Coudy, Gilles Tournadre chose to open his
bistro on place du Vieux Marché, the “gastronomic heart” of Rouen. Here, just one word
counts: simplicity. The bistro’s décor is modern, warm and inviting, with its raw
materials (wood for the walls and tables and stainless steel for the floor) and aniseed
green walls.
Open every day for lunch and dinner, the bistro offers a small menu as well as a fixedprice menu that is available at all times and, above all, serves food with “soul and roots”
to allow diners to rediscover local dishes such as the Rouen-style terrine of duck, small
spring mackerel from Dieppe, veal head in a ravigote sauce or chicken with apples in a
creamy Calvados sauce, a speciality of the Auge Valley.

Service from 12 h 00 to 14 h 30
And from 19 h 30 to 22 h 30
The restaurant is closed on December 25 th and January 1 st.
