Genoxone ZX A selective herbicide for the control of broad-leaved weeds and woody plants. Introduction Directions For Use Genoxone® ZX is a special co-formulation combining two complimentary active ingredients giving great efficacy against woody and semi-woody weeds. Make sure that all foliage to be controlled is thoroughly covered and wet by the spray. Apply on active growing vegetation. Do not cut treated plants before winter. Genoxone ZX has been developed for the maintenance of permanent grassland, hedges, slopes, ditches, road sides, field borders, farm surroundings and in general, all non-crop areas. It has great potential in forestry, railway lines, industrial areas, municipalities. Genoxone ZX is not selective to hedge plants. How to apply The main advantages of Genoxone ZX are: • • • • • Spectrum of activity Fast action Preservation of a useful green vegetation cover. Genoxone ZX is selective to grasses Long lasting and eradication effect Fill the spray tank half full with water and add the required amount of Genoxone ZX. Continue filling with water and maintain agitation during filling. Spot treatment is either made with a hand lance or with a knapsack sprayer. This allows adequate treatment of brushes and weed patches. On grassland with a general weed problem Genoxone ZX can also be applied as an overall cover spray. Re-entry for livestock Do not allow livestock to graze treated grassland for at least 15 days after treatment. Stump treatment Apply Genoxone ZX with a paint brush. When applied with a knapsack sprayer Genoxone ZX with water (50%) use 120 ml Genoxone ZX per m² of stumps to be treated. Being systemic, it is translocated with the sap down to the roots where its action causes a complete disorganisation of the plant tissue. The affected plants dry out and die.
