Save the date: Chamber music at the Club

Our second concert of the season will be on Friday January 23. The quintet of performers, all
members of the OSO, and among the most talented of the young musicians under the mentorship
of Maestro David Currie,who will introduce the programme, will perform works by Dvorjak, Carlo
Alfredo Piatti and Jean Marie Leclair.
The artists are Isidora Nojkovic,(cello), David Endemann(viola), Ben du Tort, Kathryn Koch,
Jessie Ramsay(violin). More details closer to the date.
The performance will be from 6:30 to 7:30.
You are invited to come at 6:00 for light refreshments( sandwiches ,coffee and soft drinks).
If you would like to make an evening of it, you will want to have dinner (Friday discount) in the
Dining Room after the concert.
Friday night is also one to be grateful for the weekend to come. Bring the children for a parents’
night off. If they come to the concert, they will have the opportunity to chat face to face with the
artists, who are not that far removed from them in age. We have also made special TGIF
arrangements for children who would not be interested in the performance. A special kids’ meal
will be served in the Club Room where they will be able to watch their favourite programmes or
play video games on their ipads, with staff there to keep an eye through the whole evening.

Notre deuxième concert de la saison aura lieu le vendredi 23 janvier. Le quintette de musiciens,
tous membres de l’OSO, et parmi les jeunes musiciens les plus talentueux sous la tutelle du
maestro David Currie, qui présentera le programme, joueront des morceaux de Dvorjak, Carlo
Alfredo Piatti et Jean Marie Leclair.
Les artistes sont Isidora Nojkovic (violoncelle), David Endemann (alto), Ben du Tort, Kathryn
Koch, Jessie Ramsay (violon). De plus amples renseignements seront communiqués quand la
date du concert sera plus proche.
La représentation aura lieu de 18 h 30 à 19 h 30.
Vous êtes invité à arriver à 18 h. Une légère collation sera servie (sandwiches, café et boissons
gazeuses).Si vous souhaitez consacrer votre soirée au Club, pourquoi ne pas dîner dans la salle
à manger après le concert (rabais du vendredi)?
Le vendredi soir est également l’occasion de se réjouir de l’arrivée de la fin de la semaine.
Amenez vos enfants et passez une bonne soirée. S’ils assistent au concert, ils pourront discuter
avec les artistes qui sont à peine plus âgés qu’eux. Nous avons également prévu une soirée
spéciale TGIF pour les enfants que le spectacle n’intéresserait pas. Un menu spécial enfants
sera servi dans la Salle du Club où ils pourront regarder leurs émissions favorites ou jouer à des
jeux vidéo sur leur ipad tandis que des membres du personnel seront là pour les surveiller toute
la soirée.
