Message from the Mr. Johal and Mrs. Singh We all have a part to play in your child’s education. Research continues to reinforce that a positive relationship between the home and the school improves student performance. As parents, you play a crucial role in laying the foundation of your child’s learning long before they come to school. If your child sees that going to school, being on time, treating others with respect, and completing homework is important to you, it will become important to him or her. Talk to your child about what he or she is learning. This tells your child that you value what they do at school. This also gives you an opportunity to ask questions and understand what he/she is learning. Read to your child, read with them and read near them. Help your child to see real-life connections to math. Reinforce the positive qualities that we are teaching your child, through the Virtues Program, in life outside of school.
