‰ Instant production and energy monitoring software for

An Italian company has developed a system that allows optimisation
of all parts of automatic plants, in particular instant production and
energy monitoring. The innovative software, specifically designed for
quarry and mining field, can instantly detect malfunctions as well as
“suspect” changes in operating parameters, and react by, for instance,
automatically dosing the material fed into machinery. The company
is looking for partners interested in commercial agreement with
technical assistance.
‰ Web-based 2.0 eclinical platform solution for data collection

A Belgian company through its web-based solution provides a
comprehensive platform to ensure accurate, secure and confidential
data collection and management. The solution significantly
streamlines the development cycle of new products through an
optimisation of the workflow (for single-site Phase I trials to global
multi-site Phase IV and post-marketing studies). The company is
looking for a commercial agreement with technical assistance.

A German SME has developed a modular software system for the
monitoring of personal health related data. It is able to evaluate single
values, to analyse trends and it is sensitive towards measuring value
interactions. The system is applied to individual health prevention,
observation of chronic illness and training results monitoring. The
company is looking for industrial partners for licensing the system,
adaptation to health related measuring devices and development of
new applications.

A Spanish company specialized in IT, multimedia and mobile
projects for the healthcare sector (Pharmaceutical Industry, Hospitals,
Government and Universities) has developed an innovative Software
Application for Clinical Simulation which allows medical doctors
and students to simulate real life situations in a hospital. The
company is looking for license agreement or commercial agreement
with technical assistance of this technology in the health sector.
‰ Portable Vital Signals Monitoring Platform for usage in real

A Portuguese SME has developed a platform that allows the
monitoring of human vital signs using a reduced scale platform. This
innovative platform is composed of different very small scale
wireless sensors and a concentrator unit that gathers the data and
sends it in real time to the healthcare centre, where it is received
using fixed (PC) or mobile units (PDA, mobile phone..). The

for three dimensional tracking of markers to characterize body

distribution in medical sectors and in technical cooperation to
enhance the application fields.

determine the public opinion about any subject on the

A Dutch ICT company (a.o. working for intelligence agencies) has
developed an intelligent application that analyzes the public opinion
on people, companies or products expressed on the internet or in
other unstructured texts or databases. Applications with similar
functionality were only used by scientists. The company is looking
for partners and users to develop new dedicated applications or to
deliver information services.

managed services. The company is looking for a license or

combine video sensing, video processing and communication within
