Retail Pharmacy Survey
This survey has been specially created to supplement the Retail Store Hourly Associates Survey. It provides data
on national, regional, state and metropolitan area levels for pharmacy jobs at the exempt and nonexempt levels.
Hay Group’s Retail Pharmacy Survey provides this key compensation information for 9 positions listed on the
next page.

■ Results and Delivery – Data is presented in five geographic analyses: a national summary, a state summary,
a regional summary, a compilation by major metropolitan areas, and an analysis of each job by major
commercial areas. For 2009, we will be presenting the survey results via our online interactive tool. Data can
be referenced by employee group (full-time or part-time). The information can be segmented by ZIP codes
for local geography within a five-mile radius for an extremely precise analysis. The online tool features
aging functionality and will provide additional functionality still to come. The 2008 report contained data
from 13 organizations and more than 123,000 incumbents.
