Janro Imaging Laboratory launches Sandde 2.0
The world’s first freehand stereoscopic 3D animation software now commercially available

Montreal, Quebec, Canada — Janro Imaging Laboratory Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of the
Sandde 2.0 animation system, the world’s first software package for freehand stereoscopic 3D
animation. Sandde allows animators to create stereoscopic 3D content with all the graphic charm of
hand-drawn animation. Simply pick up the Wand and draw!
Unlike computer-generated, 3D modelling animation packages, Sandde puts emphasis on freehand
drawing and animation through “puppeteering” with live gestures. Using a motion tracker with 6degrees-of-freedom, the Sandde system outputs your drawing to a stereoscopic display in real-time.
Your artwork literally floats in front of you, taking shape as a real-time trace of your hand movements.
Sandde offers the most intuitive, immediate, and immersive method of creating stereoscopic animation.

À la différence des logiciels de modélisation 3D générés par ordinateur, Sandde met l’accent sur le
dessin et l’animation à main levée grâce au concept de « marionnette » avec mouvements en direct. Le
système utilise un dispositif de capture de mouvements à 6 degrés de liberté et reproduit en temps réel
vos dessins sur un écran stéréoscopique. Votre création prend littéralement vie devant vous, suivant en
