Jean McKen is the composer of this winning submission to the CMEA/ACME 50th anniversary
song competition. She is a former classroom music teacher who specializes in training teachers
and composers to use music technology to enhance their teaching and learning experiences. She
trains teachers and composers in hands-on workshops - including two at this year’s OMEA
conference – and in her private studio. Jean is also the founder and developer of
Breezin’ Thru™ Theory, an innovative new theory and composition online product that has
recently launched as a curriculum tool for grades 7-12.
Jean is donating all proceeds from the sales of this winning song to the CMEA/ACME for use
in a scholarship fund.
