IMPORTANT
PAIEMENT EN LIGNE DES TAXES
Pour faire suite à notre changement d’institution financière ainsi qu’à la poursuite de la réforme cadastrale (changeant ainsi
votre numéro de matricule), nous vous demandons d’inscrire de nouveau votre numéro de matricule de 18 chiffres (incluant
le chiffre vérificateur à la fin), tel qu’indiqué dans l’encadré en rouge avant d’effectuer votre paiement.
DATES DES VERSEMENTS ET MODALITÉS DE PAIEMENT
1er versement : au plus tard le 6 février 2013
2e versement : au plus tard le 6 juin 2013
3e versement : au plus tard le 10 septembre 2013
Le compte de taxes municipales est payable :
• dans la plupart des institutions financières, comptoir ou guichet.
• par mode électronique (Internet, téléphone) en utilisant le numéro de matricule de 18 chiffres.
• par l’entremise de votre créancier hypothécaire (si un créancier est identifié sur votre compte, celui-ci a été avisé du
montant à payer).
• par la poste en utilisant les coupons de remise qui sont joints à votre compte.
• à l’hôtel de ville par chèque, Interac ou comptant.
• NOUVEAU – Débit préautorisé (DPA) aux dates d’échéances (retrait automatique à votre compte bancaire aux dates
d’échéances). Vous pouvez imprimer et compléter le formulaire qui se retrouve sur notre site web à l’adresse suivante :
www.ville.chateauguay.qc.ca/taxation et nous le retourner par la poste avec votre spécimen de chèque.
Si vous effectuez votre paiement par la poste, au guichet automatique de votre institution financière ou par transaction
électronique sur Internet, prévoyez les délais nécessaires afin d’éviter les intérêts et pénalités ajoutés à tout montant impayé à
la date d’échéance.
Aucun reçu officiel n’est émis suite au paiement des taxes.
FRAIS DE GESTION
Prenez avis que la Ville facturera le tarif établi de 40 $ pour vos chèques non honorés et un tarif de 10 $ pour tout paiement
par institution financière dont l’information de paiement est erronée.

PAYMENT OF TAXES ON-LINE
To follow up with our change of financial institution and the pursuit of the cadastral reform (changing your reference
number), we ask you again to write your 18-digit reference number (including the verifying number at the end) as indicated in
the framed box in red before making your payment.
INSTALLMENT DATES AND TYPES OF PAYMENT
1st instalment: no later than February 6, 2013
2nd instalment: no later than June 6, 2013
3rd instalment: no later than September 10, 2013
The municipal tax bill is payable:
• In most financial institutions, at the counter or teller machine.
• Electronically (internet, telephone) by using the 18-digit reference number.
• Through the intervention of your mortgage creditor (if a creditor is identified on your account, he has been notified of the
amount to pay).
• By mail using the delivery coupons attached to your account.
• At City Hall by cheque, Interac or cash.
• NEW – Pre-authorized debit (DPA) at the deadline dates (automatic withdrawal from your bank account at the deadline
dates). You can print and complete the form which is found on your website at the following address:
www.ville.chateauguay.qc.ca/taxation and return it to us by mail with your cheque specimen.
If you make your payment by mail, by your financial institution’s automatic teller machine or by electronic transaction on the
internet, allow for the necessary delays in order to avoid interest payments and penalties added to all amounts unpaid as of
the deadline date.
No official receipt is issued following the payment of taxes.
MANAGEMENT FEES
Please note that the City will bill the fee established at $40 for cheques that are not honoured and a fee of $10 for all financial
institution payments whose payment information is erroneous.
