Objectifs pédagogiques 1. Fondements : (a) Comprendre les théories utiles en psychométrie; (b) Interpréter l’information permettant de démontrer la qualité psychométrique de plusieurs types d’instruments; (c) Acquérir une compréhension pluridisciplinaire des enjeux psychométriques. 2. Usages : (a) Utiliser les éléments d’information (théories psychométriques, indices de fiabilité, validité, etc.) permettant de juger de la qualité psychométrique de plusieurs instruments; (b) Analyser, synthétiser et critiquer une problématique psychométrique et en faire état dans un groupe de discussion et dans un document écrit. Les étudiant(e)s sont donc très fortement invité(e)s à les connaître. Méthode pédagogique Le professeur brossera un tableau général des principaux thèmes en début de semestre. Des thèmes flottants seront insérés au besoin par le professeur pour compléter la matière, le cas échéant. Chaque étudiant préparera et animera un groupe de discussion. Le groupe de discussion se veut une entrée en matière permettant à l’étudiant d’approfondir son thème en vue du travail de session. Les participants aux groupes de discussion peuvent continuer à approfondir la matière par le truchement d'une rétroaction constructive qu'ils remettront aux responsables des groupes de discussions. Le travail de session doit présenter une analyse, une synthèse et une critique d’un thème. Le thème est au choix de l’étudiant mais doit être approuvé par le professeur. Le thème doit traiter tant de la pratique que du volet recherche. Exemples de thèmes de Groupe de discussion et de Travail de session • Analyse critique du développement et de la validation de l’instrument X o p. ex.: historique de l’instrument X, la nouvelle version de l’instrument X, le nouvel usage de l’instrument X, l’instrument X pour une nouvelle population, etc. • Les défis de la mesure et de l’évaluation dans le domaine X. o p.ex. : caractéristiques du domaine à mesurer, caractéristiques de la population ciblée, contraintes situationnelles de l’administration, avantages et inconvénients de la méthode de mesure, etc. • Analyse critique comparative des divers moyens de mesurer le phénomène X. o p. ex. : les questionnaires, les entrevues, observation du comportement, les méthodes projectives, etc. • Perspective interdisciplinaire de la méthode X : Contributions croisées. o p. ex. : l’entrevue de sélection (psychologie I/O) vs l’entrevue d’anamnèse (psychologie du counselling). • Les méthodes privilégiées du domaine X : ce qui fonctionne et ce qui mérite d’être amélioré o p.ex. : les méthodes de mesure/d’évaluation « habituelles » du domaine du counselling de couple Évaluation et pondération Numéro et description du travail 1a) Agir à titre de responsable d'un Groupe de discussion sur un thème pertinent et approuvé par le professeur. (Partie C dans PSY6803_rétro_éval_GrDisc_gabarit.doc). 3) Travail pratique (TP): Améliorer / Créer des nouvelles Normes. Choisir 5 normes dans au moins 2 chapitres du livre obligatoire. Améliorez chacune des normes et le commentaire qui leurs sont associés (ou seulement les commentaires). Créez une nouvelle norme et son commentaire. Maximum 1 page à interligne double par norme/commentaire. 4) Le travail de session (TS) doit présenter une analyse 2 , une synthèse 3 et une critique 4 d’un thème pertinent à la sélection du personnel. Le thème est au choix de l’étudiant(e) mais doit être approuvé par le professeur. Aspects formels : maximum 15 pages de texte à interlignes double excluant la page titre, la table des matières, les références et les annexes. Critères d’évaluation La préparation (1a) et l'animation (1b) des Groupes de discussion seront évalués selon les critères suivants: o Qualité des objectifs décrits dans la Partie A; Pertinence des questions "guides" décrites dans la Partie A; Pertinence des textes préparatoires décrits dans la Partie A; Clarté dans la présentation des enjeux durant le Groupe de discussion; Fait participer les autres durant le Groupe de discussion; Assure que la discussion demeure utile aux objectifs du Groupe de discussion; Couvre les thèmes/objectifs du Groupe de discussion dans le temps prévu. Les rétroactions au sujet des groupes de discussions (2a, 2b) seront évaluées selon les critères suivants : o Cette rétroaction est claire; Cette rétroaction est constructive; Cette rétroaction suggère des lectures additionnelles utiles; Cette rétroaction m’a fait prendre conscience des forces de ma démarche; Cette rétroaction permettra d’améliorer l’analyse de mon thème; Cette rétroaction permettra d’améliorer la synthèse de mon thème; Cette rétroaction permettra d’améliorer la critique des aspects théorique ou conceptuel de mon thème; Cette rétroaction permettra d'améliorer la critique des aspects pratiques de mon thème; Cette rétroaction permettra d’améliorer la critique des aspects associés à la recherche au sujet de mon thème; Globalement, cette rétroaction m’a permis d’acquérir une perspective enrichie de mon thème. 1 Le dépôt officiel doit se faire au secrétariat du département.
