About the Speakers
Carlos Alberto Sintado graduated from the Union Theological Seminary of Buenos Aires in Argentina, after
studying philosophy as well as theology, and was awarded a Ph.D. by Drew University in Madison, USA. Sintado
served as an ordained minister of the Evangelical Methodist Church of Argentina, was General Secretary of the
Latin American Union of Ecumenical Youth, Executive Secretary of the Latin American Ecumenical Coordination, and Director of the Cordoba Ecumenical Centre, before joining the Headquarters of the WCC.
Frédéric-Paul Piguet mène une recherche exigeante en écologie morale et politique depuis une vingtaine
d’années. Docteur en sciences de l’environnement de l’Université de Lausanne, il donne des enseignements sur
la justice climatique et les stratégies de durabilité écologique. Il travaille à l’Institut Biosphère en tant que
responsable enseignement et projets.
Christoph Stückelberger is Executive Director and Founder of Globethics.net, and Professor of Ethics at the
Theological Faculty of the University of Basel in Switzerland. He is also a regular visiting lecturer of Ethics for
universities in developing countries.
