RULES_
Participants:
Amateur and professional photographers from all around the world.
Title:
“A World for All: Overcoming Disabilities”.
The aim of this contest is to show the reality of people with some
kind of disability. The photographer should show everyday situations, which are not so different from the rest of the people, and
capture the lights and shadows of the people with a disability,
regardless of the part of the world they live in. Each photographer
is intended to express his/her own point of view about the disability,
in order to get a sample of what the disability represents all over
the world.
Format:
Digital.
Number of works:
A maximum of four pieces per photographer, not presented in any
previous editions of the present contest.
There are three categories:
_ General
_ For the members of ONCE
_ For people with disabilities who are not members of ONCE
Participation:
Only by the Internet (no other way will be accepted). The enrolment
and the photographs shall be sent via our website, www.oncefoto.
es, following its instructions.
Size and presentation:
All images should be in a 72 dpi JPG format, 1024 pixels on the
horizontal or 768 pixels on the vertical. The sRGB colour space is
recommended. Files cannot be over 800 Kb.
We also ask for the same files in high resolution (4000 pixels on
the longest side of a 254 dpi JPG format in sRGB or Adobe 1998
colour space) in order to print the works for the catalogue and the
exhibition.
Participation rights:
The entry to this contest is free.
JURY: The members of the jury will be appointed by ONCE, the
“FEDERACION DE AGRUPACIONES FOTOGRAFICAS DEL PAIS
VASCO” and the “SOCIEDAD FOTOGRÁFICA DE GIPUZKOA”, all
of them of renowned prestige in the photographic field. The decision shall be unquestionable.
Awards:
There will be three prizes. Furthermore, the Organization is considering the possibility of awarding two consolation prizes (one for
the best photograph taken by a member of ONCE and the other
one for the photograph taken by a disabled person who does not
belong to ONCE).
First prize:
€ 1,500, FIAP’s and CEF’s Gold Medal
Second prize
€ 750, FIAP’s and CEF’s Silver Medal
Third prize:
€ 350, FIAP’s Bronze Medal
Two consolation prizes:
€ 350 each, plus CEF’s Bronze Medal
To each winner of the prize amount indicated will be withheld for
the percentage according to the law.
Credentials of disability or ONCE membership will be asked to the
winners of the consolation prizes, if necessary.
A trophy donated by the “SOCIEDAD FOTOGRÁFICA DE GIPUZKOA” in SAN SEBASTIÁN will be given to each of the five
winners.
The best classified photographer from the Basque Country will receive a trophy from the “Federación de Agrupaciones Fotográficas
del País Vasco” (designed by a craftsman/woman).
The winners will receive one point each that will count for obtaining
CEF’s honorific distinctions.
The winners who are resident in the Basque Country will be invited
to participate in the Argizaiola Trophy by FAFPV.
Each contestant will be eligible to only one prize.
Awarded works:
All the awarded works will become part of the ONCE’s photographic library. Entry to this contest implies the contestants’ authorization for the reproduction of their works in any media or for advertising purposes without being eligible to any payment for rights.
The participants also authorize the awarded works to be enlarged
to the format of 100 x 70 cm, in which case the organization shall
contact the authors for a correct reproduction. The organization
shall mention the author’s name on all possible reproductions. The
contestants are responsible for the non-existence of third party’s
rights or claims of image copyright.
Notes:
Should any problem not contemplated in these rules arise, it will be
solved by the organization itself. The awarding of prizes shall be
unquestionable. Entry to this contest means the total acceptance
of the present rules.
Calendar:
Admission of works:
Deadline will be November 15, 2013.
Valuation of jury submission:
December 15, 2013.
Final results will be sent to each author before January 15, 2014.
A catalogue with a selection of the best works submitted before
June 30, 2014 will be published.
A travelling exhibition will be organized with a selection of the best
works.

RÈGLEMENT_
Participants:
Amateurs et professionnels de tout le monde.
Sujet:
“Un monde pour tous: Surmonter les handicaps”. L’objectif de ce
concours est montrer la réalité des personnes avec des handicaps
et que le photographe montre les situations quotidiennes qui ne sont
pas si différentes du reste du monde. Que le photographe sache attirer les lumières et les ombres des handicapés, n’importe la place du
monde où ils habitent. On souhaite que chaque photographe transmette sa propre vision du handicap puis que c’est ainsi qu’on obtient
un rapport de la signification du handicap dans tout le monde.
Modalité:
Digitale.
Nombre d’œuvres:
Un maximum de quatre œuvres par auteur, n’ayant pas été présentées lors d’éditions antérieures du présent concours.
Il y a trois catégories:
_ Catégorie générale
_ Catégorie pour les membres de la ONCE
_ Catégorie pour les personnes handicapées qui n’appartiennent
pas à la ONCE.
Participation :
Seulement par Internet (on n’acceptera pas aucune autre façon de
participation). Les participants doivent faire l’inscription et envoyer les
images dans www.oncefoto.es, en suivant les indications du site web.
Taille et présentation :
Les œuvres devront être présentées avec le format JPG à 72 dpi.,
1024 pixels en horizontal ou 768 en vertical. Espace de couleur recommandé: sRGB. Les archives ne seront dans aucun cas supérieures à 800 Kb.
On demande aussi les mêmes archives dans haute résolution
(4000 pixels pour le côté le plus long en JPG à 254 ppp dans
l’espace de couleur sRGB ou Adobe 1998) pour imprimer les œuvres de l’exposition et du catalogue.
Droits de participation :
Libre. L’inscription au concours sera gratuite.
Jury:
Il sera désigné par la ONCE, la FEDERACION DE AGRUPACIONES FOTOGRAFICAS DEL PAIS VASCO (FÉDÉRATIONS
D’ASSOCIATIONS FOTOGRAPHIQUES DU PAYS BASQUE) et la SOCIEDAD FOTOGRÁFICA DE GIPUZKOA (SOCIÉTÉ PHOTOGRAPHIQUE DE GIPUZKOA) et sera composé de personnes de grand prestige dans le milieu de la photographie. La décision sera sans appel.
Prix:
Il y aura trois prix. De plus, l’Organisation envisage d’attribuer deux
accessits : un à la meilleure photo réalisée par un membre de l’ONCE
et un autre à une personne handicapée n’appartenant pas à l’ONCE.
Premier prix:
1 500 €, Médaille d’Or de la FIAP et de la CEF
Deuxième prix:
750 €, Médaille d’Argent de la FIAP et de la CEF
Troisième prix:
350 €, Médaille de Bronze de la FIAP
Deux accessit:
350 € chacun et Médaille de Bronze de la CEF
Á chaque gagnant, du montant indiqué du prix, on sera retenu le
pourcentage correspondant pour la loi.
On demandera les certificats de membre de la ONCE ou de handicapé aux gagnants des accessit, le cas échéant.
Les cinq lauréats recevront aussi un trophée donné par la SOCIEDAD FOTOGRÁFICA DE GIPUZKOA de Saint-Sébastien.
Le photographe le mieux classé du Pays Basque recevra un trophée de la Fédération des Groupes photographiques du Pays Basque (conçu par un artisan).
Les lauréats recevront un point qui sera valable pour l’obtention de
distinctions honorifiques de la CEF.
Les lauréats résidents au Pays basque seront invités par la FAFPV
à participer au Trophée Argizaiola.
Les participants auront droit à un seul prix.
Œuvres gagnantes:
Les photographies gagnantes feront partie de la Photothèque de
l’ONCE. Les participants autorisent les organisateurs du Concours à
reproduire leurs travaux dans tous les médias sans avoir à payer de
droits. De même, les lauréats autorisent l’agrandissement des photos
récompensées au format de 100 x 70 cm auquel cas l’organisation
contactera l’auteur pour une reproduction correcte. L’organisation citera toujours le nom de l’auteur pour toutes les reproductions. Les
participants assument la responsabilité de la non-existence de droits
de tiers et de toute réclamation de droits d’image.
Observations:
Toute anomalie éventuelle non prévue dans ce règlement sera résolue par les organisateurs du concours. Les résultats du concours
seront irrévocables. La participation à ce concours implique la totale acceptation de ce règlement.
Calendrier:
Admission des œuvres:
jusqu’au 15 novembre 2013.
Envoi évaluation du jury: le 15 décembre 2013.
Chaque auteur recevra une notification individuelle avec les résultats avant le 15 janvier 2014.
On publiera un catalogue avec une sélection des meilleures œuvres
présentées avant le 30 juin 2014.
Avec une sélection des meilleures œuvres on effectuera une exposition itinérante.
Le listing de travaux récompensés sera publié sur le site Internet de
la ONCE: www.once.es
