Prix d’encouragement
pour de jeunes chercheurs
La Société Suisse de Chimie Clinique met au concours un prix d’encouragement de l’ordre de CHF 5000.–
pour de jeunes chercheurs. Celui-ci sera remis pour la première fois lors de la Swiss MedLab en octobre
2004. Pour tous ceux qui désirent s’inscrire, voici le règlement en vigueur:
§ 1 La Société Suisse de Chimie Clinique (SSCC) entretient un fonds
d’encouragement pour la relève en
chimie clinique. Le fonds est alimenté par le bénéfice de l’assemblée annuelle et par le sponsoring.

couverture d’éventuels déficits de
l’assemblée annuelle.

§ 2 Alimenté par les moyens du fonds,
un prix d’encouragement annuel
de CHF 5000.– récompensera des
performances scientifiques particulières. Son but est aussi bien de
soutenir la relève que d’encourager l’activité scientifique dans le
domaine de la chimie clinique.
§ 3 La candidature au prix est ouverte
aux membres de la SSCC, ainsi
qu’aux porteurs du titre de spécialiste FAMH en analyses de chimie
clinique ou du titre pluridisciplinaire, lesquels n’auront pas dépassé l’âge de 40 ans au 1er janvier
de l’année où le prix doit être
décerné. Les candidats en formation au titre FAMH sont assimilés
aux porteurs du titre. Les candidatures devront parvenir jusqu’au
31 mai au secrétariat de la SSCC.
D’autres indications se trouvent
sur le formulaire de candidature.
Le prix sera attribué à la candidate
ou au candidat ayant présenté le
meilleur travail scientifique de l’an-
§ 4 Le comité de la SSCC décide à la
majorité simple de l’attribution du
prix. Il ne sera en règle générale
pas partagé, ou alors réparti sur
deux personnes au maximum. Des
experts indépendants peuvent être
consultés pour l’appréciation.
La décision du jury est sans appel.
La voie juridique est exclue pour
tous les différends concernant le
prix.
§ 5 Le prix sera décerné en public à
l’occasion de l’assemblée annuelle
de la SSCC. La gagnante ou le
gagnant tiendra un exposé sur le
travail primé.

www.sscc.ch. Le délai d’inscription est
le 30 juin 2004.

Dear colleagues and friends
With this second announcement we
are proud to present to you the (almost) final version of the programme
for Swiss MedLab 2004, the International Congress of Laboratory Medicine to be held from 5 to 9 October
2004 in Lucerne.
True to our slogan «Birds of a Feather
Flock Together» we have assembled a
scientific program that aims at interand transdisciplinary approaches to a
series of topics and developments that
are of common interest to members of
the various participating societies,
representing clinical chemists, biologists, geneticists, hematologists, immunologists and public health specialists, to name just a few.
Each day begins with a plenary session during which invited speakers
present the basis for the «topic of the
day», i.e., «Heart Failure», «Host-Parasite Interactions», «Benefits of Laboratory Medicine», «Ageing & Lifestyle»
and «Cancer». Afterwards, workshops
and parallel sessions cover selected
