Val di Sole, surrounded by spectacular mountain groups that include the Adamello Presanella, Ortles
Cevedale, Brenta Dolomites and the Maddalene, is an area of rare natural beauty where all those who
enjoy fishing can admire magnificent landscapes as they fish in over 120 km of rivers and streams and 12
mountain lakes that are filled with Marble Trout, Brown Trout and Arctic Char.
In the Noce, Vermigliana, Meledrio and Rabbies streams and in the many lakes of the valley, fishing for
rainbow, brown and marble trout plus precious Artic chars is definitely a unique and pleasant experience.
Great fishing is also possible both in natural and artificial lakes like the Pian Palù Lake in Val di Pejo or the
Fazzòn Lake known as the “Lago dei Caprioli”. All of the fishing areas in the valley have their own unique
characteristics which mainly depend upon the height and the temperature of the area they are located in.
Of course fishing in the Noce River or in one of its numerous tributaries which are filled with various types
of trout, is also a must to try in Val di Sole: anglers will enjoy fishing colourful brown trout, fantastic marble
trout, shiny and speckled rainbow trout and rare Arctic char.
The 15th Carnivorous Artificial Bait Shore Angling World Championship will be held right here in these
spectacular surroundings.

rivières et torrents et 12 lacs alpins, peuplés de truites Marbrées, Fario et d'Ombles Chevaliers.
Dans les torrents Noce, Vermigliana, Meledrio, Rabbies et dans les nombreux lacs de la vallée, la pêche de
truites iridées, fario, marbrées et des prisés ombles chevaliers est particulièrement plaisante.
La relaxant pratique de la pêche peut être exercée avec la plus grande satisfaction dans les lacs soit
naturels qu'artificiels, comme le bassin de Pian Palù et le lac de Fazzon, appelé le «Lac des chevreuils». Tous
les plans d'eau de la vallée abritent une vie plus ou moins diversifiée selon leur altitude et leur climat, qui
va des micro-organismes aux poissons très beaux et sauvages. Sans oublier bien sûr l'abondance de
poissons de la rivière Noce et ses nombreux affluents, riches en diverses espèces de truites: les farios
colorées, les très belles marbrées, les luisantes iridées, les prisés ombles chevaliers et les épinoches.
C'est dans ce superbe cadre qui se déroulera le 15ème Championnat du Monde Carnassiers aux Leurres
Artificiels du Bord.

COMPETITION VENUES
The 15th Carnivorous Artificial Bait Shore Angling World Championship 2017 will be held in the upper part
of Val di Sole, right in the north western part of the Trentino region.
There are two competition venues that are equally divided; one is located on the Noce River (sectors C and
D) and the other on the Vermigliana stream (sectors A and B).
The Noce River originates from the glaciers in the Ortles-Cevedale mountain group within the Stelvio
National Park in Val di Pejo, and after 105 km, it flows into the Adige River near the town of Zambana.
The Vermigliana stream originates from the glaciers in the Adamello-Presanella mountain group, and after
17 km, it flows into the Noce River near the town of Cusiano di Ossana. The Vermigliana stream is the main
tributary of the Noce River.
LES PARCOURS DE COMPETITION
Le 15ème Championnat du Monde Carnassiers aux Leurres artificiels du Bord se déroule en Val di Sole,
Trentino de l’ouest. Deux sont les parcours de compétition, équitablement répartis sur la rivière Noce
(secteurs C et D) et sur le torrent Vermigliana (secteurs A et B).
La rivière Noce nait sur le glacier du Group Ortles-Cevedale dans le Parc National du Stelvio dans la Val di
Pejo et conflue dans le fleuve Adige près de Zambana, après 105 km.
Le torrent Vermigliana nait sur le glacier Adamello-Presanella et après 17 km il conflue dans la rivière Noce
près de Cusiano de Ossana. Le torrent Vermigliana est le principal affluent du Noce.

1) Noce River, loc. Noval competition zone (municipality of Ossana-municipality of Peio)
A natural section located between meadows which are grown for hay. Banks with natural vegetation
growth of black alder. Average slope 3%. Gravel and sand riverbed with small-medium sized Gneiss rocks.
Water may be very cloudy if there are strong thunderstorms or if the weather is very warm with a high
freezing level, above 3000 m. Grassy river banks with easy access. During regular water flow conditions, it is
very difficult to cross the river.
Height 950 m a.s.l., average water flow in June 2-4 m³/sec, average width 8-12 m.
Water temperature in June 7-8 °C
Types of trout: mainly Brown Trout, Marble Trout and a small amount of Marble Hybrid.

1) Rivière Noce, localité Noval (Municipalité de Ossana – Municipalité de Peio)
Partie naturelle située au milieu de prairies cultivées avec du foin. La végétation des bords est
naturellement riche en aune noir. Pente moyenne du 3%. Fond de gravier et sable avec roche de Gneiss de
petite-moyenne dimension. Il y a la possibilité d’eau trouble, surtout en cas de fort orage ou en cas de
temps chaud avec un niveau de congélation très haute, à autre 3000 m. Les bords du torrent sont herbeux
et avec un accès facile. Dans des normales conditions de débit, la traversée du torrent est très difficile.
L’altitude est de 950 m au-dessus du niveau de la mer, avec un débit moyen dans le mois de juin de 2-4
m3/s, largeur moyenne 8-12 m.
La température de l’eau dans le mois de juin : 7-8° C.
Espèce de truites : surtout truite fario (salmo trutta fario), truite marbrée et en mineur quantité hybride de
marbrée.

2) Vermigliana Stream, loc. Velon competition zone (municipality of Vermiglio)
A naturalized section between a fir forest and meadows. Banks with natural vegetation growth with some
black alder or fir trees. Average slope 3%. Gravel and sand riverbed with medium sized granite rocks. Water
may be cloudy and suddenly high if there are strong thunderstorms or if the weather is very warm with a
high freezing level, above 3000 m. Grassy river banks with easy access. During regular water flow
conditions, it is difficult to cross the river.
Height 1200 m a.s.l., average water flow in June 1-3 m³/sec, average width 7-10 m.
Water temperature in June 5-7 °C
Types of trout: mainly Brown Trout, and the occasional Brook trout

2) Parcours de compétition Torrent Vermigliana, localité Velon (Municipalité de Vermiglio)
Partie naturalisée au milieu du bois de sapin et prairies. La végétation des bords est naturellement riche en
aune noir ou sapin. Pente moyenne du 3%. Fond de gravier et sable avec blocs de granit de dimensions
moyennes. Possibilité d’eau trouble et tout à coup haute, surtout en cas de fort orage ou en cas de temps
chaud avec un niveau de congélation très haute, à autre 3000 m. Les bords du torrent sont herbeux et avec
un accès facile. Dans des normales conditions de débit, la traversée du torrent est difficile.
L’altitude est de 1200 m au-dessus du niveau de la mer, avec un débit moyen dans le mois de juin de 1-3
m3/s, largeur moyenne 7-10 m.
La température de l’eau dans le mois de juin : 5-7° C.

GENERAL INFORMATION
All nations affiliated to F.I.P.S.e.d. can participate in the Carnivorous Artificial Bait Shore Angling World
Championship.
The competition is organized by FIPSAS Provincial Committee of Trento and by FIPSAS General HQ.
Registration for participating teams and the accommodation will be handled by the TOURIST BOARD VAL DI
SOLE.
At their accreditation, each Team shall deliver to the organizers their national flag and anthem.
During the official competition days (training and the two competition days), competitors will be exempted
from the obligation of holding a fishing license and the fishing permission.
However, anyone who wishes to fish in the days preceding or following the official days is requested to
equip himself with a proper fishing license for foreigners and a fishing permission, which are available at
the Fishing Office (Ufficio Pesca) in Pellizzano, Via IV Novembre n. 21, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, from
Tuesday to Saturday (www.pescatorisolandri.com).
The fishing license for foreigners will be delivered free of charge, while the fishing permission will be
available at a subsidized cost (€ 13 a day).
We remind that starting from the Sunday evening before the championship, it will not be possible to fish on
the torrents’ sections that will be used for the competition.

INFORMATIONS GENERALES
La participation au Championnat du Monde Carnassiers aux Leurres Artificiels du Bord est ouverte à chaque
Nation membre de la FIPSed.
L’événement est organisé par le Comité Provincial FIPSAS de Trento et par le siège général FIPSAS.
L’inscription des équipes participantes et l’hébergement seront gérés par l’AZIENDA TURISMO VAL DI SOLE.
Au moment de leur accréditation, chaque équipe remet aux organisateurs le drapeau national et
l’hymne.
Pendant les jours officiels du championnat (la journée d’entrainement et les deux journées de
compétition), les compétiteurs seront exemptés de l’obligation de posséder la licence de pêche et le permis
de pêche.
Par contre, tous ceux qui désirent pêcher pendant les jours précédents ou suivants les journées officielles
sont bien invités à s’équiper d’une licence de pêche pour les étrangers et d’un permis de pêche, qui seront
disponibles chez le Bureau de Peche (Ufficio Pesca) à Pellizzano, Via IV Novembre n. 21, de 9h00 à 12h00,
du mardi au samedi (www.pescatorisolandri.com).
La licence de pêche pour les étrangers est gratuite, tandis que les permis de pêche seront disponibles à un
prix concordé (13 € par jour).
On rappelle qu’à partir du dimanche soir précèdent le Championnat, il ne sera pas possible de pêcher sur
les sections des torrents qui seront utilisés comme parcours de compétition.
