The workshop will take place in the Café de fiennes - the sustainable lifestyle meeting place, which

Participants are responsible to make their own hotel bookings. Suggestions for hotels in the

The working session is organized by the UNFCCC in close collaboration with the Government of

VISA FOR BELGIUM
The secretariat strongly advises early contact with the appropriate consular authorities to allow
sufficient time for the necessary visas (and transit visas) to be issued before departure.
DSA PAYMENT FOR FUNDED PARTICIPANTS:
All funded participants please bring you passport, flight ticket and boarding passes with you to the
meeting. These document need to be copied in order to make the DSA payment.
TRANSPORT
It is very easy to reach the centre of the City of Brussels (and the venue) with public transport.1
If you arrive by airplane in Brussels-National-Airport you take the train from there to Brussels-Midi (4 trains

Follow Boulevard Paul-Henri Spaak (avenue with bus stops)
At the Place Bara (square) turn left.
Cross Place Bara and continue in the direction of the town hall.

Parking in the surrounding streets is free.
Do not leave any valuables in the car.
One can park below the Bruxelles-Midi train station too.
From 8 till 24 hrs. (14 Euros for a whole day).
The latter Parking spaces are under surveillance.

Option 2: Following the inner “ring” to the Bruxelles-Midi
train station.
From Gent: : follow Brussel-Centrum until you reach the
Koekelberg Basilica. Enter the tunnel and take the exit Sainctelette.
Position yourself on the far right lane, cross the bridge and
immediately take the street on the right that goes down to the canal.
Follow the“Ring” until you reach the last traffic light before
the overhanging railway bridge of the Bruxelles-Midi train station.
Turn right in boulevard Jamar. Cross Place Bara and continue straight
on until you are almost at the Anderlecht town hall.
From Leuven: Follow rue de la loi until the Arts-Loi junction.
There, take a left and enter the tunnel. Immediately after
the railwaybridge turn left. Take boulevard Jamar, cross Place Bara
and continue straight on until you are almost at the town hall.

Option 1: When taking exit 16 (Sint-Pieters Leeuw – Anderlecht)
from the ring road.
You follow the Chaussée de Mons in the direction of the city centre.
Across the canal, underneath the bridge immediately take a sharp
left (there is a road sign indicating the centre). Then keep following
the tramcar tracks (ignore the city centre signs), you reach
rue Van Lint. Rue de Fiennes begins where rue Van Lint ends.
