Villa le Rêve, in Vence opened its doors to art lovers, looking for a place to stay,
rest and work in harmony with history, nature and atmosphere.
Located only 10 mn walking distance from the historic town and 100 meter from the
Rosary Chapel, villa le Rêve, an old Master's house in colonial style, in which Henri
Matisse lived from 1943 to 1949 welcomes you with an exceptional view from the
garden of 2500m2 on the old town, the hills behind Vence and the coast line.

Saturday
Arrival in Nice airport, and transfer to Vence.
Welcome in the Villa le Rêve and its garden, welcome drink and presentation of the painting session.
Welcome dinner in a restaurant in Vence.
Sunday to Thursday
Painting session in the villa with your teacher.
Two rooms corresponding to Matisse's former studio are at the clients disposal –professional or not –
wishing to work with graphic of modelling art. Each studio, equipped with easels and water tap has space
for 5 persons. The garden as well can be used as a studio, tents or parasols will improve the comfort
during the working session.
Nights and breakfast, mostly on the terrace.
Friday
One day guided excursion by coach to Antibes (the old town, the harbour, the Picasso museum and the
provençal market. Saint Paul (the village and the Fondation Maeght) To finalize the day wine tasting in
the village of Saint Jeannet by Mr. Rasse, typical local wine. Return to villa le Rêve.
Saturday
Transfer to Nice airport, 2 hours free near the old town of Nice with its flower market before take-off.
Painting courses are not included. Opportunity to rent the painting studio with accomodation in an
hotel in the town. Halfboard supplement on request.
8 days/7 nights in Villa Matisse in Vence :
2 studios where Matisse used to paint provided with easel.
The garden, rooms with shower and washbasin, toilets being on the same floor.
Breakfast either on the terrace or inside the villa
Transfer from Nice Airport to Vence
Welcome dinner on arrival day
