gold medal at the 17th annual
Chardonnay
du
Monde
wine
competition held on 10 to 13 March 2010 at
Château des Ravatys, the wine estate of the
Pa s t e u r I n s t i t u t e i n Pa r i s . O n l y 2 S p a n i s h
wines have been awarded with gold medal.
The Chardonnay du Monde International
c o m p e t i t i o n r e c o g n i s e s t h e w o r l d ’s b e s t
Chardonnay wines by awarding them with
reliable and representative medals. 887 wines
from 37 countries have been evaluated. After
four days of judging, the panels awarded medals
to 296 participants. 65 wines were awarded
gold medal, 174 silver medal and 57 bronze
medal. This international confrontation
is strictly limited to Chardonnay wines.
