Make sure to use the right tools for connections.

All Steps to be done by experienced personnel only !
S’assurer lors de la rétractation que la colle déborde
légèrement de part et d autre de la gaine thermo
Make sure that glue is emerging the shrink sleeves
while shrinking !
Apres la mise en oeuvre, tester la résistance d’isolement
After completion check insulation resistance !
Type HC3
Dénuder la gaine extérieure sur
50mm
Type HC3 / supply lead:
remove 50 mm of outer jacket.
PTFE
Tous Types:
Repousser la tresse de 40mm et
sortir le câble de la tresse.
PTFE/SS
PTFE/HC3
All types:
Push braid back approx. 40
mm and form a hole with a
pointed tool pull heating cable
through hole, straighten and
twist braid.
Attention : ne pas endommager
la gaine isolante !
Placer la gaine
thermorétractable PTFE sur le
câble et dénuder sur 10mm.
Utiliser une cosse afin de
connecter la terminaison froide
et le câble chauffant.
Placer ensuite la gaine sur le
connecteur et chauffer.
Do not damage the primary
PTFE-insulation!
Place small PTFE shrink sleeve
on heating cable and remove 10
mm of primary insulation. Use
crimp to connect supply lead
and heating cable. Pull shrink
sleeve evenly back over crimp
and shrink.

Connecter la tresse et le fil de
terre du câble avec la cosse
adaptée.

gaine thermorétractable sur
la terre et chauffer

thermorétractable FEP sur
l’ensemble et retreindre.

use crimp to connect earthwire of supply lead and braid.
Make sure to place all crimps
in a staggered way.
Type PTFE/SS
push big shrink sleeves over
crimped connections down to
the protection braid and
shrink.
PTFE/HC3
Place FEP-sleeves on outer
cover and shrink. Place glass
fibre hose over FEP-sleeves.
Place both shrink sleeves on
the connection. Ends of outer
jacket of supply lead and
heating cable have to be inside
the shrink sleeve as shown.

Cold lead
Sortie froide PTFE optionnelle
50 mm des äusseren Schutzmantels entfernen.
Schutzgeflecht ca. 40 mm
zurückschieben und mit einem
spitzen Gegenstand aufweiten.
Heizleiter durch das Geflecht
ziehen. Schutzgeflecht straff
ziehen und verdrillen.
Optional cold lead PTFE/
Remove 50 mm of outer
jacket. Push braid back
approx. 40 mm and form a

heating cable through hole,
straighten and twist braid.
Aderendhülsen und grün-gelben
Schrumpfschlauch auf Kaltenden
aufbringen.
Put yellow-green shrink
sleeves on earth wire. Put on
wire pins.
