Universal® received the following message from the French Registry in July 2012:
French Registry releases updated Declaration Statement
for Registry Account activation
Dear Sirs,
The European Commission has just sent us an updated version of the statement to sign before
June 20th if your company intends selling quotas as of this date. In the attached amended
version, a sentence referring to article 25a of Directive 2003/87/EC has been added.

The attached statement cancels and replaces the previous version sent on May 16th.
If as of June 20th 2012 you intend to sell quotas, please kindly send back via post (rapid
courier) the original statement duly signed with an official letter requesting the activation of
your account to the following mailing address:
