Thank you for purchasing the Venom Stronghold Solo battery-charging box. The
Stronghold was designed as a fire containment-charging box to help protect
surrounding surfaces and property from damage or destruction as the result of a
catastrophic battery failure. This design is meant to help control the release of gases
and fumes in a safe manner if a failure occurs. It is not a guarantee against damage,
but is meant to greatly reduce damage to surfaces and property. Be responsible and
observe proper charging techniques.
The use of the Stronghold Solo does not eliminate the risks of a lithium polymer battery
fire. Users should always follow the safety warnings, instructions and guidelines
provided by their battery and charger manufacturers in connection with this product.
IMPORTANT
1. Always use a charger specifically designed for the chemistry of the battery to be
charged. Never use NiCD or NiMH type chargers to charge LiPO batteries. Never
use a LiPO type charger to charge NiCD or NiMH batteries. Failure to do so will
damage the batteries and may cause fire and personal injury. When charging
NiMH batteries, you must use a linear charger with peak detection. Do not use a
timer charger. Charge battery at no higher than a 1C charge rate. To calculate your
battery’s 1C charge rate, divide the battery capacity (mAh) by 1000.
Example: 3000mah ÷ 1000 = 3amps, 4200mah ÷ 1000 = 4.2amps, etc.
2. Do not charge batteries on or near wood, cloth, carpet, in your model, or on or near
any other flammable material. Keep a chemical fire extinguisher nearby incase of
fire.
3. Never leave batteries unattended while charging. Always observe batteries when
charging so that you may react quickly to any problems that may occur.
4. If a battery is deformed, swollen or appears damaged, DO NOT CHARGE. Follow the
disposal instructions on pg. 3 to properly and safely dispose of the battery.
5. Any time you have an accident with your model or if the battery swells “balloons” or
if the battery exceeds temperature guidelines, follow these safety steps:
a. Immediately remove the battery pack from your model or charger.
b. Place the battery in a non-flammable, well ventilated area.
c. Observe the battery for 30 minutes from a safe distance.
d. After 30 minutes, if the pack appears stable, is not swollen and does not show any signs of damage, return the battery pack to normal use with caution.

6. Do not let exposed battery wires touch each other. This may cause the
battery to short and potentially cause a fire.
7. Store your batteries in a cool, dry place between 40-80 Fº / 4-26 Cº. LiPO
batteries must be stored at 3.75-3.80 volts per cell to maintain capacity and
pack life. Do not store fully charged for longer than one week to prevent
damage.
8. Do not assemble unmatched or dissimilar LiPO, NiCD, or NiMH cells.
9. Store battery packs out of the reach of children and pets.
LIPO DISPOSAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. Discharge battery pack to 2.5 Volts per cell or less.
2. Fill a bucket with enough water to submerge the battery pack completely.
3. Add salt to the water until no more salt will dissolve; the water is now
saturated with salt.
4. Place the battery pack in the bucket and leave submerged in the salt water
solution for 24 hours.
5. Remove the battery pack from the salt water and test the voltage.
6. If the voltage does not read 0.0 Volts, re-submerge and re-test until the
voltage reads 0.0 Volts.
7. Once the battery pack has been discharged to 0.0 Volts, it is safe to discard
in the trash.

The Stronghold Solo was designed to accommodate Lithium Polymer batteries (LiPO)

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1) Set up your Stronghold Solo and battery charger on a non-flammable surface away
from flammable objects, chemicals, or other potentially hazardous materials.
2) Insert the charge lead and the 2-6S balance block, if applicable, through the power
lead hole in the Stronghold Solo. Power to the charger should be turned off during
this step to prevent the possibility of shorting the wires if metal connectors touch
the sides of the Stronghold Solo.
3) Turn On power to your charger.
4) Connect battery to the charge leads and place inside Stronghold Solo.
5) Close the lid to the Stronghold Solo and secure with the lid latch.
6) Start charge procedure of the battery. Do not leave batteries unattended while
charging. Consult the charging instructions that came with your battery.
WHAT TO DO IF A BATTERY DOES FAIL
1) Allow the battery to finish the failure completely before approaching the box. Fumes,
flames and other chemicals are quite hazardous if inhaled or ingested. Be prepared
with a chemical fire extinguisher to put out any remaining parts of the battery. Allow
everything to cool down before handling.
2) Remove all power to the charger that was in use.
3) Wearing rubber gloves and eye protection, remove the remains of the failed battery
from the Stronghold Solo. Dispose of them in a plastic bag and place them in the
trash.
4) The Stronghold Solo can be re-used. Battery residue and soot can be washed out
with ordinary soap and water.

GENERAL WARRANTY POLICIES
Venom™ warrants this product to be free of material and workmanship defects when new. Venom™ will at its
sole discretion repair or replace defective components free of charge within 90 days from date of purchase
or within 30 days for all electronic components. This warranty does not cover wear and tear, crash damage,
modifications, failure to perform routine maintenance, or any damages arising as a result of improper use. All

sido diseñado como una caja de contención de fuego que protege las superficies de alrededor

4. Si la batería está deformada, hinchada o parece dañada, NO LA CARGUE. Siga las instrucciones de
desecho de la página 3 para deshacerse de la batería de manera adecuada y segura.
5. En cualquier momento que tenga un accidente con su modelo o si a la batería le salen “burbujas” o
si excede la temperatura que especifican las directrices, siga los siguientes pasos de seguridad:
a. Saque inmediatamente el paquete de batería de su modelo o cargador.
b. Coloque la batería en una zona bien ventilada y no inflamable.

3. Añada sal al agua hasta que no se disuelva más; el agua estará entonces
saturada de sal.

INSTRUCCIONES DE USO
1) Coloque su Stronghold Solo y cargador de batería sobre una superficie
no inflamable alejada de objetos, productos químicos u otros materiales
potencialmente peligrosos que pudieran arder.
2) Inserte el cable de carga y el bloque de balance 2-6S, si fuera aplicable, a través
del orificio del cable de alimentación del Stronghold Solo. Debe desconectar el
cargador de la corriente durante este paso para evitar la posibilidad de que se

IMPORTANT

la batterie à un débit de charge de maximum 1C. Pour calculer le débit de charge de 1C de votre
batterie, divisez la capacité de la batterie (mAh) par 1 000.
Exemple : 3 000 mAh ÷ 1 000 = 3 amps, 4 200 mAh ÷ 1 000 = 4,2 amps, etc.
2. Ne chargez pas de batteries sur du bois, un chiffon, un tapis, dans votre modèle, ni sur aucun autre
matériau inflammable. Prévoyez un extincteur d’incendie chimique en cas d’incendie.
3. Ne laissez jamais les batteries sans surveillance pendant la charge. Surveillez de près la charge
des batteries afin de pouvoir rapidement intervenir en cas de problème.
4. Si une batterie est déformée, a augmenté de volume ou semble endommagée, NE LA CHARGEZ
PAS. Respectez les instructions relatives à la mise au rebut fournies à la page 3 afin de mettre au
rebut la batterie correctement et en toute sécurité.
5. En cas d’accident avec votre modèle à tout moment ou si la batterie se gonfle ou si la température
de la batterie dépasse les limites prescrites, suivez les étapes de sécurité suivantes :
a. Retirez immédiatement le pack de batteries de votre modèle ou du chargeur.
b. Placez la batterie dans un endroit ininflammable et bien aéré.
c. Observez la batterie pendant 30 minutes en vous tenant à une distance de sécurité.
d. Au bout de 30 minutes, si le pack semble stable, n’est pas gonflé et ne
présente aucun signe d’endommagement, retournez le pack de batteries au mode d’utilisation normale avec précaution.

6. Ne laissez pas de fils exposés de batterie se toucher. Cela risque
d’entraîner un court-circuit de la batterie et, éventuellement, un incendie.
7. Rangez vos batteries dans un endroit frais et sec, entre 40 et 80 ºF/4 et
26 Cº. Les batteries LiPo doivent être rangées à 3,75 à 3,80 volts par cellule
afin de préserver la capacité et la durée de vie du pack. Ne rangez pas le
pack entièrement chargé pendant plus d’une semaine, afin de prévenir
tout endommagement.
8. Ne mélangez pas des cellules LiPo, NiCD ou NiMH non correspondantes
ou différentes.
9. Maintenez les packs de batteries hors de la portée des enfants et des
animaux de compagnie.
INSTRUCTIONS RELATIVES À LA MISE AU REBUT DES BATTERIES LIPO
1. Déchargez le pack de batteries à 2,5 Volts par cellule ou moins.
2. Remplissez un seau avec suffisamment d’eau de sorte à submerger
complètement le pack de batteries.
3. Ajoutez du sel à l’eau jusqu’à sa dissolution complète ; l’eau est à présent
saturée de sel.
4. Placez le pack de batteries dans le seau et laissez-le plongé dans la
solution d’eau salée pendant 24 heures.
5. Retirez le pack de batteries de la solution d’eau salée et effectuez un test
de tension.
6. Si la tension n’affiche pas 0,0 Volts, submergez à nouveau le pack de
batteries pendant 24 heures, puis vérifiez à nouveau pour vous assurer que
la tension affiche 0,0 Volts.
7. Une fois le pack de batteries déchargé à 0,0 Volts, il peut être mis au rebut
en toute sécurité.

INSTRUCTIONS D’UTILISATION

1) Disposez votre Stronghold Solo et votre chargeur de batteries sur une surface
ininflammable à l’écart de tous objets inflammables, produits chimiques ou autres
matériaux potentiellement dangereux.
2) Insérez le fil de charge et le bloc d’équilibre 2-6S, le cas échéant, à travers l’orifice
du fil d’alimentation dans le Stronghold Solo. Le chargeur doit être mis hors tension
à cette étape afin de prévenir toute éventualité de court-circuit des fisl en cas de
contact entre les connecteurs métalliques et les côtés du Stronghold Solo.
3) Mettez votre chargeur sous tension.
4) Connectez la batterie aux fils de charge, puis placez-la dans le Stronghold Solo.
5) Fermez le couvercle du Stronghold Solo, puis sécurisez à l’aide du loquet du
couvercle.
6) Démarrez la procédure de charge de la batterie. Ne pas laisser les batteries sans
surveillance pendant la charge. Consultez les instructions relatives à la charge
livrées avec votre batterie.
MESURES EN CAS DE PANNE DE BATTERIE
1) Laissez la panne de la batterie s’achever complètement avant de vous approcher
du boîtier. L’ingestion ou l’inhalation de fumées, de flammes et d’autres produits
chimiques peut s’avérer très dangereuse. Prévoyez un extincteur d’incendie
chimique afin d’éteindre toutes pièces restantes de la batterie. Attendez que les
pièces refroidissent avant toute manipulation.
2) Supprimez toute alimentation du chargeur qui était utilisé.
3) Portez des gants en caoutchouc et des lunettes de protection avant de retirer
les restes de la batterie défaillante du Stronghold Solo. Placez-les ans un sac en
plastique, puis jetez-les dans une poubelle.
4) Le Stronghold Solo peut être réutilisé. Les résidus et la suie de batterie peuvent être
nettoyés à l’aide de savon ordinaire et d’eau.

Vielen Dank für den Kauf der Venom Stronghold Solo Batterie-Ladebox. Die
Stronghold Ladebox dient der Feuereindämmung, und soll umliegende Oberflächen
und Gegenstände im Fall einer katastrophalen Fehlfunktion der Batterie vor Schäden
oder Zerstörung bewahren. Falls eine Fehlfunktion auftritt, sorgt das Design für eine
sichere Freigabe von Gasen und Dämpfen. Es garantiert nicht vor Schäden, kann jedoch
Schäden an Oberflächen oder Gegenständen beachtlich eindämmen. Handeln Sie
verantwortungsbewusst und beachten Sie sachgemäße Methoden zum Aufladen.
Die Verwendung der Stronghold Solo Ladebox eliminiert nicht die Brandgefahr, die von

Ladestrom von 1C oder geringer aufladen. Ermitteln Sie den 1C Ladestrom Ihrer Batterie, indem Sie
die Batterieleistung (mAh) durch 1000 teilen.

2. Batterien nicht auf Holz, Stoffen, Teppichen, Ihrem Produkt oder auf anderen brennbaren Materialien

ENTSORGUNGSVORSCHRIFTEN FÜR LIPO-BATTERIEN
1. Entladen Sie den Akku bis auf 2,5 Volt oder weniger pro Zelle.
2. Füllen Sie einen Eimer mit genug Wasser, um den Akku vollständig unter
Wasser zu tauchen.
3. Fügen Sie solange Salz hinzu, bis sich kein Salz mehr auflöst; das Wasser
ist dann mit Salz gesättigt.
4. Legen Sie den Akku in den Eimer; lassen Sie ihn 24 Stunden im Salzwasser.
5. Nehmen Sie den Akku aus dem Salzwasser und testen Sie die Spannung.
6. Falls die Spannung nicht 0,0 Volt beträgt, tauchen Sie den Akku erneut in
die Salzlösung und testen Sie die Spannung solange, bis der Akku eine
Spannung von 0,0 Volt hat.
7. Sobald der Akku bis auf 0,0 Volt entladen wurde, kann er entsorgt werden.

GEBRAUCHSANLEITUNGEN
1) Installieren Sie Ihre Stronghold Solo Ladebox und Ihr Ladegerät auf einer nicht
brennbaren Oberfläche, fern von brennbaren Gegenständen, Chemikalien oder
anderen potenziell gefährlichen Materialien.
2) Führen Sie das Ladekabel und den 2-6S Balancer, sofern erforderlich, durch
den Netzkabelanschluss der Stronghold Solo Ladebox. Das Ladegerät muss
während dieses Schritts vom Netz getrennt sein, um zu verhindern, dass Kabel
kurzgeschlossen werden, falls die Metallverbinder die Seiten der Stronghold Solo
Ladebox berühren.
3) Schalten Sie Ihr Ladegerät ein.
4) Schließen Sie die Batterie an die Ladekabel an; setzen Sie die Batterie dann in die
Stronghold Solo Ladebox.
5) Schließen Sie den Deckel der Stronghold Ladebox und verriegeln Sie anschließend
den Schnappverschluss.
6) Starten Sie den Ladevorgang. Lassen Sie die Batterie während des Aufladens nicht

WAS IM FALL VON FEHLFUNKTIONEN DER BATTERIE ZU TUN IST
1) Lassen Sie die Batterie die Fehlfunktion vollständig abschließen, bevor Sie sich
der Box nähern. Das Einatmen oder Verdauen von Dämpfen, Flammen und anderen
Chemikalien kann recht gefährlich sein. Wappnen Sie sich mit einem chemischen
Feuerlöscher, um brennende Teile der Batterie ggf. zu löschen. Lassen Sie alles
abkühlen, bevor Sie etwas anfassen.
2) Trennen Sie das verwendete Ladegerät vom Netz.
3) Tragen Sie Gummihandschuhe und eine Schutzbrille; nehmen Sie die beschädigte
Batterie aus der Stronghold Solo Ladebox. Entsorgen Sie die Batterie in einer
Plastiktüte, die Sie dann in den Müll werfen.
4) Die Stronghold Solo Ladebox kann erneut verwendet werden. Entfernen Sie
Rückstände und Ruß mit einem herkömmlichen Reinigungsmittel und Wasser.

Venom Stronghold Solo バッテリー充電ボックスのお買い上げ誠にありがとうございま
す。Stronghold は破壊的なバッテリー不具合の結果として資財の損害や破壊や周
辺の表面を守るために設計された火災を閉じ込める充電ボックスです。この設計は
不具合が起きた場合にガスや煙霧の放出をを安全な形で制御します。損害に対す
る保証ではありませんが、表面や資財への損害を大きく減少させます。責任をもって
適切な充電技術を使用して下さい。
Stronghold Solo はリチウムポリマーバッテリーの火災リスクを無くすものではありませ
ん。本製品とともにバッテリーおよび充電器の製造者によって提供されている安全警
告、取扱説明書およびガイドラインに必ず従って下さい。
重要
1. 充電されるバッテリーとの相性をもった専用充電器を必ず使用して下さい。LiPO
バッテリーの充電には絶対に NiCD または NiMH 充電器を使用しないで下さ
い。NiCD または NiMH バッテリーの充電には 絶対に LiPO 充電器を使用しな
いで下さい。これがなされなかった場合、バッテリーの破損および怪我や火災の
原因となります。NiMH バッテリーを充電する際はピーク検出機能を搭載したリニ
ア充電器を使用しなければなりません。タイマー充電器は使用しないで下さい。
バッテリーの充電は１C 充電率を超過しないで下さい。バッテリーの 1C 充電率
を計算するには、バッテリー容量(mAh) を1000で割って下さい。
例:3000mah ÷ 1000 = 3amps, 4200mah ÷ 1000 = 4.2amps、その他
2 .木材、布、カーペット、模型、またはその他可燃性の材質上ではバッテリーを充電
しないで下さい。火災の場合に備えて近くに化学消火器を用意して下さい。
3. 充電中はバッテリーから離れないで下さい。問題が起きた場合すぐに対応できる
よう、充電中は必ずバッテリーを監視して下さい。
4. バッテリーが変形、膨張または破損したように見える場合は充電しないで下さい。
バッテリーを適切かつ安全に破棄するために3ページの破棄説明に従って下さ
い。
5. 模型に問題が起きた場合またはバッテリーが膨張した場合または温度ガイドライ
ンを超過した場合、次の安全手順に従って下さい：
a. バッテリーパックを模型または充電器から直ちに取り外して下さい。
b. バッテリーを良く換気された非可燃性の場所に移動して下さい。
c. 安全な距離からバッテリーを30分間監視して下さい。
d. 30分経過後、パックが安定しているようで、膨張してなく破損の痕跡が
い場合、バッテリーパックを注意しながら通常使用へと戻して下さい。

6. 露出したバッテリーのワイヤーは互いに触れないようにして下さい。これ
によりバッテリーがショートする恐れがあり火災の原因となります。
7. バッテリーを 40-80 Fº / 4-26 Cº 間の冷えて乾燥した場所に保管して
下さい。パックの寿命および容量を維持するために LiPO バッテリーは
3.75-3.80ボルトで保管されなければなりません。破損を防ぐために一週
間以上完全に充電されたバッテリーを保管しないで下さい。
8. 合致しないまたは似ていない LiPO、NiCD、または NiMH セルを組み合
わせないで下さい。
9. バッテリーパックは子供やペットの手に届かない場所で保管して下さい。
LiPO の処分手順
1. セル毎2.5ボルトまたはそれ以下までバッテリーパックを放電して下さい。
2. バッテリーパックを完全に沈めることが出来るだけの水でバケツを満たし
て下さい。
3. 塩がこれ以上解けないまで水に塩を加えることで水を塩で飽和させて下
さい。
4. バッテリーパックをバケツに入れて24時間以上塩水につけて下さい。
5. 塩水からバッテリーパックを取出し電圧をテストして下さい。
6. 電圧が0.0ボルトでない場合は、0.0ボルトになるまで再度塩水につけて
下さい。
7. バッテリーパックが0.0ボルトまで放電されましたら破棄可能です。

The Stronghold Solo was designed to accommodate Lithium Polymer batteries
(LiPO) up to 60-Watt Hours. Batteries larger than 60 Wh will not be properly
contained due to the expansive volume of Lithium Batteries.

使用メモ
Stronghold Solo は60ワット時間までのリチウムポリマーバッテリー（LiPO）を搭載する
よう設計されています。リチウムバッテリーの大きさによって60Wh以上のバッテリーは
正しく搭載出来ません。

使用説明
1) Stronghold Solo およびバッテリー充電器を可燃物、薬品、またはその他危険性を
持った材料から離して非可燃性表面にセットして下さい。
2) 充電線および適用する場合は 2-6S バランスブロックを Stronghold Solo の電源
線の穴に通して挿入して下さい。Stronghold Solo の側面に鉄のコネクターが触れ
た場合にショートする可能性を防ぐために充電器の電源は切断するべきです。
3) 充電器の電源を入れて下さい。
4) 充電線へバッテリーを接続し Stronghold Solo 内に配置して下さい。
5) Stronghold Solo のふたを閉じてふたのラッチを固定して下さい。
6) バッテリーの充電手順を始めて下さい。充電中はバッテリーから離れないで下さ
い。バッテリーに付属した充電手順に従って下さい。
バッテリーに不具合が発生した場合の対処方法
1) バッテリーの不具合が完全に収まるまでボックスに近づかないで下さい。煙霧、炎
およびその他薬品は吸引した場合危険です。バッテリーの残った部分を消火する
ために化学消火栓を準備して下さい。取扱う前に全てを冷却させて下さい。
2) 使用されていた充電器の電源を切って下さい。
3) ゴム手袋および保護めがねを装着し Stronghold Solo から不具合のあったバッテリ
ーの残骸を取除いて下さい。プラスチック製の袋に入れて破棄して下さい。
4) Stronghold Solo は再利用出来ます。バッテリーの残留物やすすは通常の石鹸と
水で洗い落とせます。
