‫ﻴﺤث ﻤﻨظّﻤو اﻟﻤﻬرﺠﺎن ﻤﺎﻟﻛﻲ ﺤﻘوق اﻷﻓﻼم اﻟﻤﺸﺎرﻛﺔ ﺒﺈرﺴﺎﻝ أي ﻤواد ﺘروﻴﺠﻴﺔ ﻤﻊ ﻨﺴﺨﺔ اﻟﻌرض ‪.‬‬

1. The Festival
The 4th edition of the Animation Film Festival Beirut Animated organized by the Metropolis Association will take
place in Beirut between the 18h and the 22nd of October 2015.
The call for entries is open to animation films produced (or co-produced) in or animated by artists from the
following countries: Algeria, Bahrain, Comoros Islands, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya,
Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, South Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, United
Arab Emirates and Yemen.
2. Applications
Applications can be submitted online or by post.
The application will be considered invalid until we have received all the required materials.

The deadline to send a DVD copy of the film to the Metropolis offices is July 25, 2015.

3. Selection
The selection will be completed and announced by August 15, 2015.
All the DVD preview copies of the films submitted to the festival will be kept in the festival archive.
4. Format of the selected films
The selected films will be screened in 35mm print, DCP, Digital Beta or Beta SP (PAL), DVD and Blu-Ray copies.
5. Sending the copies
The DVD copies of the submitted films have to be sent to the address of the festival by ordinary or priority post,
specifying “no commercial value – for cultural purpose only”.
The screening copies of the selected films have to be sent by rapid post or express courier (FedEx, DHL…) with a
declared value of less than 10 US Dollars.
6. Shipping Charges
The shipping charges for the screening copies will be covered by the festival.
7. Promotion and Conservation of Films
The festival organizers invite right holders of the selected films to enclose promotional materials with the sent film
copy. The materials will be made available to the press, guests and audience during the festival.
The selected films may be included in reruns of Beirut Animated in some European festivals. In this case, the
organizers will contact the right holders for prior approval.

La 4è édition du festival de films d’animation Beyrouth Animée organisé par l’Association Metropolis se tiendra du
18 au 22 Octobre 2015 à Beyrouth.
L’appel à participation est ouvert aux films d’animation produits (ou coproduits) ou animés par des artistes des
pays suivants: Algérie, Bahreïn, Iles Comores, Djibouti, Egypte, Irak, Jordanie, Kuwait, Liban, Libye, Mauritanie,

2. Participations
Les formulaires de participation peuvent être soumis en ligne ou par poste.
Les demandes de participation seront considérées invalides jusqu’à la réception de tout le matériel requis.

Le dernier délai pour recevoir le formulaire de participation et une copie DVD du film aux locaux de Beyrouth
Animée est le 25 Juillet 2015.
Procedure De Soumission

3. Sélection
La sélection prendra fin et sera annoncée le 15 Aout 2015.
Toutes les copies DVD soumises au festival seront conservées aux archives du festival.
4. Formats pour les films sélectionnés
Les films sélectionnés seront projetés en copies 35mm, DCP, Beta Numérique ou Beta SP (PAL), DVD et Blu-Ray.
5. Envoi des copies
Les copies DVD des films soumis doivent être envoyées au festival par courrier ordinaire ou par courrier prioritaire,
en spécifiant « sans valeur commerciale – pour but culturel uniquement ».
Les copies de projection doivent être envoyées par courrier rapide ou express (FedEx, DHL…) avec une valeur
déclarée ne dépassant pas les 10 US Dollars.
6. Charges d’expédition
Le festival se charge des couts d’envoi des copies de projection de et vers le festival.
7. Promotion et conservation des Films
Les organisateurs du festival invitent les ayants droits des films sélectionnées à joindre le matériel promotionnel
avec les copies envoyées. Ce matériel sera mis à la disposition de la presse, des invités et du public.
Les films sélectionnés peuvent être inclus dans des rétrospectives après le festival. Dans ce cas, les organisateurs
contacteront les ayants droits.
