Hélène Charles dit Lajeunesse, daughter of Étienne Charles dit Lajeunesse and Madeleine Niel, married Michel Viau dit Lespérance son of Jacques Viau dit Lespérance and Madeleine Plouard, 28 October 1698 in Boucherville. 3. Laurent Viau dit Lespérance, son of Hélène Charles dit Lajeunesse and Michel Viau dit Lespérance, married Marie Charlotte Desnoyers dite Demarais, daughter of Jean Baptiste Desnoyers dit Demarais and Thérèse Menard dit Lafontaine, 7 January 1736 in Québec. 4. Marie Charlotte Viau dit Lespérance, daughter of Laurent Viau dit Lespérance and Marie Charlotte Desnoyers dite Demarais, married Jean Baptiste Veronneau, son of Joseph Veronneau and Françoise Rougeau, 30 April 1753 in St-Antoine-de-Chambly. 5. Marie Angélique Veronneau, daughter of Marie Charlotte Viau dite Lespérance and Jean Baptiste Veronneau, married Antoine Chartier, son of Jean Baptiste Chartier and Marie Françoise Bombardier dite Lombarde, 1785 in St. Mathieu. 6. Marie Louise Chartier, daughter of Marie Angélique Veronneau and Antoine Chartier, married Laurent Dame, son of Antoine Dame and Marie Menard dit Bellerose, 4 November 1805 in St. Joseph de Chambly. 7. Joseph Damm I, son of Marie Louise Chartier and Antoine Dame, married Felicity Jeanne, daughter of John Moses Jeanne and Archange Freton, in 1860. 8. Joseph Damm II, son of Joseph Damm I and Felicity Jeanne, married Josephine Sophia Patenotre Patterson, daughter of Felicity Chauvin and Peter Patenotre Patterson II, 1883 in St. Mary’s, St. Clair, Michigan. 9. Florence Damm, daughter of Josephine Patterson and Joseph Damm II, married Charles Carson I, son of James Carson II and Abigail Sawyer, 11 July 1901 in St. Mary’s, St. Clair, Michigan. Étienne Charles dit Lajeunesse arrived in New France June 30, 1665 as a soldier in Carignan Salières Regiment, Monteil’s Company.
