Description
Borchi® Gol LA 200 is a VOC free polyether modified polysiloxane additive which provides high surface slip
and improves flow and leveling properties. It also quickly removes air bubbles from applied coated surfaces
and avoids microfoam formation at all production stages.

Properties
Borchi® Gol LA 200 reduces surface tension thereby increasing surface slip, block and scratch resistance.
Borchi® Gol LA 200 improves substrate wetting which inhibits crater/pinhole formation.
Borchi® Gol LA 200 promotes higher gloss and less haze in cured finishes. It quickly releases air entrapped
in the coating during manufacturing and also in the applied films during application.
Applications
Borchi® Gol LA 200 is compatible in many water based systems. It can be used in clear and pigmented
industrial solvent based coatings (1K and 2K polyurethanes), OEM, automotive repaint and decorative
coatings.
Dosage
The recommended dosage is 0.05 to 0.30 % of the total weight of the formulation depending upon the binder
system and which property is being addressed. The exact dosage should be experimentally determined.
Borchi® Gol LA 200 is easy to use and can be added at any stage of the formulation however we
recommend adding it near the end of the formula. Do not exceed recommended dosages to prevent
intercoat adhesion issues.
Borchi® Gol LA 200 should be added as supplied into the system. However, premixes for water based
formulas can be made by blending this product with polyglycol ethers. Most common solvents can be used in
the premix for solvent based systems.

Storage
Protect from the effects of weathering and light and store at temperatures between 5 and 30 °C.
Once opened, containers should be resealed immediately after each removal of the product.
