Announces auditions for the following vacancies:
SECTION VIOLIN
(3 tenure-track positions,
1 one-year position with possibility of continuation)
effective the 2016-2017 Season
National auditions for Section Violin will be held in Ottawa October 1st & 2nd, 2015.
Candidates advancing from these auditions will be asked to return for a final round on October 9th, 2015.
Winning candidate will be required to show proof of Canadian citizenship or eligibility to work in Canada.
Season: 46 weeks including concerts, broadcasts, opera, ballet,
recordings, tours and 5 weeks paid vacation
Salary: Minimum scale, 2015-2016: $1,915.00 per week
The members of the National Arts Centre Orchestra are Canadian members of
the American Federation of Musicians.

VIOLONISTE DE SECTION
(3 postes menant à la permanence,
1 contrat d’un an avec possibilité de prolongation)
Entrée en fonction au début de la saison 2016-2017
Les auditions nationales pour ce poste auront lieu à Ottawa les 1 et 2 octobre 2015.
Les candidats qui franchiront avec succès cette étape seront convoqués à une ronde finale
d’évaluation le 9 octobre 2015.
La personne retenue devra présenter une preuve de citoyenneté canadienne ou
d’admissibilité à travailler au Canada.
Saison : 46 semaines, incluant concerts, captations pour diffusion, opéras, ballets,
enregistrements, tournées et 5 semaines de congé payé
Salaire : Échelle minimale pour 2015-2015 : 1 915 $ par semaine (salaire à négocier pour ce poste)
Les musiciens de l’Orchestre du Centre national des Arts sont membres de la
section canadienne de l’American Federation of Musicians.
