FORMAT:
Round Robin/Pool Play format.
Winner of each pool advances to championship game.
TIE BREAKER
First:
With two or more teams in a pool tied; head to head competition will determine the team(s) to
advance.
Second: With two or more teams in a pool still tied; total points will determine the team(s) to advance.
NOTE: Points are calculated by adding the total points earned in each winning game, with a
maximum of 10 points per game. (A forfeit shall be 10 points)
Third:
Less point scored against will determine team to advance.
Fourth:
Coin toss if necessary.
RULES
2010 ASA and league rules apply with the following amendments.
Each batter will receive just one pitch. Batters will be declared out if they hit a foul ball, swing and miss,
or take a legal pitch that hits the mat. Batters will be awarded first base if their pitch is called a ball.
Games will have a 40-minute time limit; no inning will begin after 40-minutes have elapsed from the start
of the game. There will be no time limit for the championship game. Game time is forfeit time.
Each game will start with two new ballS. Teams will provide any additional balls.
Players can play for one team only.
