PLASTIQUE ROTOMOULé
The particular feature of rotational technology lies
in the fact that the mould rotates slowly along two
axes throughout the processing stages. This
tumbling action allows plastic powder introduced
into the mould to melt and form an even coating
over all the inner surfaces, which are heated by
means of hot air. When the mould has cooled, it is
opened and the product is extracted and finished
off by manually removing the burring present.
Le moulage par rotation est une technologie
particulière dans laquelle le moule tourne sur
deux axes pendant toutes les phases
d’usinage. Grâce à ces deux mouvements, le
polymère à l’intérieur du moule s’étale
sur toutes les surfaces chauffées par ventilation
d'air chaud, et fond en permettant son adhésion
uniforme à la surface du moule. Une fois
terminée la phase de cuisson, le moule est
ouvert, le produit est extrait et fini à la main en
éliminant les ébarbures présentes.
