CHARLELIE COUTURE
( Bertrand Charles-Elie COUTURE)
Né à Nancy en 1956, diplômé de l’École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, Chevalier du
Mérite National, chevalier de la Légion d’HONNEUR, chevalier des Arts et lettres,
Peintre, Photographe, Poète et musicien, CharlElie COUTURE fait partie des références de la
culture Française contemporaine.
CharlElie Couture est un artiste pluridsciplinaire. Photographe et peintre, autant compositeur que
poète, CharlElie obtient la notoriété en Europe pour ses réalisations musicales, (disques, concerts,
musiques de films).
« Constructs », « Photograffs », « Innerportraits » son œuvre « multiste » est un voyage entre le
conscient identifié et l’émotionnel inconscient qu’il définit comme « IN/OUT et OUT/IN »
Pionnier du Web dans les années 90, l’artiste a participé à de nombreuses conférences sur l’Art et
la Culture, développant le principe des interactivités créatives.
Installé depuis dix ans à New York, CharlElie a la double nationalité Franco-Américaine.
CharlElie expose ses œuvres régulièrement en France et aux Etats-Unis, et notamment à
Manhattan où il a géré pendant 5 ans un lieu de rencontre unique, à la fois atelier et Art gallery
sur la 37th Street.
