Luxembourg is more than a “fiscal paradise”.
Esch-sur-Alzette (reb.) Flen Pharma, leader and innovator in advanced wound and skin healing,
moved its headquarter to Luxembourg attracted by the great future prospects of the newly
established Luxembourg House of Biohealth.
Flen Pharma focuses on research and development, internally and in cooperation with other centres
of excellence.
Flen Pharma believes in the innovative and the supportive environment of Luxembourg. Hence Flen
Pharma also moves its research center to Esch, where its new research activities are scheduled to
start. Also new jobs opportunities for highly qualified staff are created. “I am convinced that

Research and Development
Flen Pharma developed the hydroactive colloid gel Flamigel® and the Enzyme Alginogels Flaminal®
Hydro and Flaminal® Forte from internal research. Flen Pharma focuses on the development of new
products to stay a leading innovator. Flen Pharma’s research and development is targeted at
patented, topical products to improve the quality of the life of patients suffering from inflammatory
and infectious wound and skin diseases. Product development takes places in Flen Pharma’s labs, in
cooperation with various universities. Clinical research on Flen Pharma products is performed at
